sweet. wiimote is an option in battle dojo! woo!
I guess so. I think the shine of the ink would differentiate it from the scenery, but maybe not.
Damn autocorrect, that was supposed to be cya not cyan
The roller, like most weapons, is only as deadly as the person controlling it. With the right strategy, it's really difficult to handle.

Fuck, you really found a way to work that one in somewhat naturally. Props lol.
This gets me thinking. I understand why red and, to some extent, brown aren't in the game, but why not black and white ink? What's bad about that?
I tested the impact of abilites a bit with "bomb range up".
For those who are interested:
It seems like the effect of an ability doesn't stack when it's on the same piece of equipment. I have a hat with 2 "bomb range up" abilities and a hat with 1. same range!
If the ability is on different pieces it stacks! so with "bomb range" on my hat and and my shoes I can throw bombs even further.
I don't know if it's already known here. But I think it's nice to know ^^
I wasn't serious. I was just making fun of the "roller is OP!!" talk.
Could red have something to do with trying to be friendly to colour blind gamers? I may be wrong but IIRC red is one of the colours some people have trouble with.
I'm loving the game itself, but the controls are holding it back. The gyro isn't sensitive enough to use exclusively (unless you want to stand up and spin in circles), so you have to play it as if it were a dual analog game and just use the gyro for small adjustments.
Except you can't use the analog for vertical aim, so you have to break from the dual analog mindset and switch to exclusively using motion every time there's an altitude difference. You also have to make big, sweeping movements on the Y axis but not the X. Breaking the continuity of the controls like that is awkward and unintuitive.
Fuck gyro aiming. Come back to me, baby.
Some of us are on this guy's stream: http://www.twitch.tv/tarolg
You know you can switch to full analog controls through the options on the Gamepad, right?
I'm considering picking this game up tomorrow. Looking through the OP, though, it seems a lot of features of the game aren't active yet. What's the compelling reason to pick it up now and not a couple months down the road in August, and save money?
doesn't matter. no where NEAR as good as wiimote aiming.

Hmmm so abilities don't stack if their on the same piece? That is bullshit then. They shouldn't show up in the roulette. If you are gonna make the abilities be random then at least make it so you can't get the same ability. Imagine getting a 3* piece with the same ability on it 4 times!

You totally blue this joke. It's so hard to read.
So much win right here lolI red it wrong, too.

They're even worse. The gyro may not be very intuitive or precise compared to a Wii remote, but it's still better than standard dual analog.
Game has a MAJOR problem right now, which is rage-quitters. I've had a few matches where we lose with only 35%. Yeah, your team sucked and/or had inferior equipment, whatever. It's very a short match, and then you can get back in. Yet there have already, in under 20mins, been 3 matched where my team was doing very well and then "A connection error has occurred." Yeah, you mean someone fucking rage quit. And then we get nothing for it. Cool.

Soooo I was under the impression you couldn't use the wiimote at all in this game.
