Is anyone here using a Logitech mouse with SetPoint Settings? Like an Mx518 or G400? Did you get it to work with TOR? I never did find out how to get the game to recognize the 3 buttons around the mouse wheel on mine even if I mapped them to a letter and then keybound something to that letter. The buttons just would not work.

I haven't tried mapping the thumb buttons on my MX518 but it's weird it wouldn't use them even if you set them to something else. Is that normal?

No, it's not normal. Every other game lets me use them if I set them to something on the kb. And the buttons on the side (thumb buttons) work fine. It's the +, -, and page swap buttons that don't do anything.

Oh, I never rebind those. I never touch the page swap button but my favorite feature of the mouse is the DPI switching on the fly. I could never give that up for more buttons.

That's nice and all, but I'm the GM of "Ima Force Choke a Lich" in support of the Empire. Been gaming with the same group of people for years now, and we were actually a pretty well accomplished guild for being laid back and casual (servers firsts and all that). So I gotta roll with them, no offense GAF! Maybe we can form an alliance. :)

So that's why I was wondering what's happening with the information, as one time it was supposed to be emailed to all members, then the GM, and now possibly the Guild page?

I had the same issue with a Steelseries Cataclysm MMO Mouse. In your case I think you have to run the SetPoint software as an Administrator. Something to do with application privileges. You can google it.

I've since bought a Steelseries Legendary mouse (find the thumb buttons to be better positioned) and I am hoping that setting all the processes to do with the mouse to "run as admin" in the task manager will do the trick.

Oh, and I've also disabled UAC. Laziness was the only thing that prevented me from doing so earlier.

So, currently my SWTOR Account only shows Pre-order crystal

After we add the final product code, it will be updated to reflect the Digital Deluxe Edition I am assuming?

Yeah, I don't think pre-order codes differentiate between the different editions of the retail product.

I was leaning towards Assassin...but I really don't like tanking...Seems scary to me.

I'll probably go Sorcerer just cause I can respec healing if need be.

forgot how small raid groups were. Had decided to go with bodyguard but it is the only healer without a battle rez which could be a huge deal when picking your roster

going with flipping a coin

head - Sith Sorc
tails - Bodyguard

only scientific way to handle this :p

True dat. It'll pretty much come down to whatever the GAF Empire needs for raiding. I was fully decked out in WoW before WOLTK (quit then) and got the itch to raid again.

OK, one more problem guys, Any one getting Game Assets 17 installation issue ?

Have been getting this error since the first day of pre-load, tried repairing many time but no luck!!

Twi'leks can wear hoods, their lekku just show through ala Elf ears in that other popular MMO that I shall not name because some people get their panties in a bunch at the slightest mention.

On my weekend beta testing, the option was in but greyed out so you couldn't enable it. So as far as what retail will have, still unknown. If not, the option to force AA is there which many of us can help ya through getting it done.

I have an ATI 6900 card. Can I still force the AA? Are there any potential complications with other applications on my computer?

Thinking of getting one of those Naga's, but going to wait until my BB Reward Zone points clear and I have $40 in GC's =D

I don't feel I'll need it for leveling anyways, not until endgame, as leveling is such a joke.

I find twileks and their lekkus as whole, a very disturbing and ridiculous affair.

Thankfully, by playing a sith warrior i'll be able to feed my appetite by torturing vette all the time.

Is there any comprehensive videos showing a breakdown of the most used skills per class. I saw one for Sith Assassins or whatever but I haven't seen one for others..

They were a great help in determining if I wanted to play that class and I still have no idea what I want to play.
