Either way, a useful bit of information for all of you who ordered the digital versions from origins but haven't gotten a key yet: on your origins customer support page, insert your order number to see your order status. On the next page, your key should be there. I received a confirmation e-mail from my digital edition that didn't include the early access key, and this is how I managed to find it.

Origin sent an email that said I had 7 days to correct a billing issue, but then I tried to correct it this morning and they said my pre-order was cancelled, so I'll just be waiting for beta impressions like everyone else.
A relatively easy way to fix the "i didnt have enough information so i picked the wrong advanced class" would be having the trainer where you pick your advanced class tell you that he's sees a vision your future.
In that vision you would be taken to a little instanced area where you would first see a example video of the advanced class at max level and its abilities, then you would get to play through the instance (10-15 minutes long) yourself using that max level advanced class. Afterwards you would do the same with the other advanced class going through the same instance following a preview video of it.
They could also treat that instanced area like the starter area of many other video games where in that instance you would gain new abilities that would be useful in defeating the next pack of enemies. Ex: Your first couple packs of monsters would be alone. The next pack would be a group of monsters and some cc skills appear on your bar.
Doing it in this way would make it so people couldnt complain that they accidentally picked the wrong class.

One of the few great things Champions Online did was let you test every ability before you locked it in. I'm not sure how feasible it would be in a more traditional class based MMO however; one of the hooks for leveling up in these games is opening up new abilities that you've never tried before; if they let you use a smaller subset of an advanced classes' abilities it might work but unlocking all of them isn't going to happen.
Have to agree with the sentiments that respeccing between advanced classes may be a little much; every single AC has a dps tree (there are no healer/tank dual AC's). I liked that even in BH/Trooper the heal and tank trees were separated; it makes excellent design sense. Definitely the classes of choice now for people who want to be able to fill all roles with the same character.

I have read really decent beta reviews so far. Havnt heard anything negative except from people not playing the game.
Had a buddy in the closed testing who is really harsh and picks apart everything. They mentioned the game is really polished for its beta state and its a blast to play. They will even be preordering, which is REALLY rare for this person. I know it doesn't mean much to you reading this, but for me coming from this person really did bring up my excitement level and expectations.
But i've heard similar responses from other people and testers so far. It sounds good and i need something to get the bad taste of FF14 out of my mouth.
Only thing that worries me is that it will be too easy to get to max level and then there is nothing to do, or rather same ol wow end game crap.
FFS send me on some weird ass randomly generation treasure hunt from digging up something or fishing up something. make it semi difficult!

His posts on other threads are never very positive, plus he quietly left the thread. I'm taking his comments with a large grain of salt.

I would be very interested in reading these bad impressions, because honestly about the worst I have seen have come form neogaf and the user in question just seems to just prefer wow to swtor. To be fair most users in beta here seems to talk in ways that are somewhat open to interpretation, due to not wanting to break nda etc, so I could be putting a more positive spin on his/her view of the game.
