Yeah, good thing I didn't delete that client, I guess they reinvited everyone. Don't think I would be willing to download another 40 gigs since I already got my bounty hunter-ing out of my system.

Kinda hope they didn't delete my character, but if they did I'll just play a trooper or something.

Sweet I just got the same email today which was surprising because they did say that if you were already invited you would not be invited back for a weekend because they wanted as many fresh eyes on it as possible or some such nonsense. On the down side I don't see it being this weekend as it wouldn't give anyone a lot of time to re-download the client again unless they start pushing invites out tonight. *crosses fingers*

The fact that they are re-inviting us makes me think did receive alot of negative feedback. Why else would they use the exact same group of weekenders? I mean im happy and I love the game but the reasononing seems fairly obvious.

I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that I won't see the game pre-launch. That's okay. I've got some console stuff that should keep me pretty occupied.

the people in this thread have really big problems xD
They behave as if they turned gay if there read one line from a gay Companion. Maybe they are scared about that they try it and i like it ^^

Man I always have such rotten luck with these things. If I don't get in the beta I'll probably cancel my preorder. I can't afford to waste money on a game I might get burned on like Rift.

Back on topic though, I hope there is an option to turn off the huttball announcer the guy literally says 3 different things and repeats them incessantly the whole game. Video is available from your usual sources.

I kinda expect that starting tuesday or Wednesday next week they will do the actual access opening to accounts to download. As of yesterday people can download the launcher but its useless until accounts get flagged so they can login.

Seems like the mid-August to early-September hype-building was a bit of premature climax. At this point what's going on? Re-inviting the old weekend testers for another round some indeterminate point in the future?

I really hate my luck. I can get someone an invite to this game... but can't get myself an invite to the Diablo 3 beta.

Don't suppose anyone here has friends at Blizzard and you want to work some kind of Friends and Family trade or something?

Well lot of awesome games coming out with the fall season so it's keeping me occupied and my mind off waiting for this game. Will be out when it's out, I got stuff to keep me happy for now.

I am excite. BGs in a certain other MMO got terrible when cross server queues were brought in.

I agree in terms of concept but it also depends what the queues are like. Split factions on one server usually isn't very healthy of a pool to pick from, especially outside of a launch or patch period. God help you if your server isn't one of the betters as well.

I mean I remember fun times and rival guilds from WoW classic PvP queues, but I also remember that the queues themselves were 20+ minutes whereas they're instant nowadays.

They should only have dual specs allowed for pvp usage. Hate multi specs in pve. For PVP it's fine, lot of games have adopted that stance too by allowing players to have a pvp build

Bullshit yourself, Morn. You can disagree without dismissing others' opinions. Try it sometime. I've played a healer and a tank throughout the beta, and I don't feel it's necessary in the same way that it is in WoW for example. To elaborate further here would break NDA.

It's not like it matters anyways; the decsion has been made.
