This is a plan from the same guy who decided to jump into a close range fight with Mace Windu using blasters instead of using the "high ground".

Watching Episode 2 on Blu-ray on Tuesday was like killing your brain cells. Too many logical flaws in the script.

Not sure what's worse. That, or Obi-Wan jumping in the center of like 50 droids to challenge General Grevious in a 1 on 1 duel. No wonder Anakin does so much stupid shit.

Speaking of which...are Jedi Knights and Sith Warrior's straight up clones ability/talent wise? I mean...I know that Sith get force lightning and stuff. But is there a DPS/effect equivalent of that for Jedi Knights like force push or something, along with the rest of their moves and abilities?

Same question goes for Inquisitors and Consulars. If there's a talent listing/talent calculator somewhere, could someone link me?

Last I heard, all the classes are the same on both factions. They just have different names and their spells/abilities have different names, but everything they can do is the same.

I expected them to share similarities as far as the role the classes filled for each side but not identical/cloned abilities.

I'm confused though...what's the Republic equivalent to an Imperial Agent Sniper?

Consider that every one of the 4 Base Classes has 2 Advanced Classes that you can progress to. If classes weren't mirrored across factions, that would make for a total of 16 completely different classes. It would be a nightmare to balance.

I think I might prefer if it were a little more like vanilla WoW where each faction has 1 special unique class, but even then it makes it difficult to design raid encounters.

At the same time, I kinda wish they had just made 8 classes and made all 8 available to both factions. The mirroring bullshit is only going to confuse discussion in the Community, because for every spell a Jedi Shadow has, there will be a corollary spell in Sith Assassin abilities with a completely different name with the same effect. So if I want to go to the forums and complain about a Shadow's 3-second stun ability called Immobilize, the people that play Empire probably won't know what I'm talking about because their Sith Assassins have a 3 second stun that's called Paralyze that is the same thing in every way except name.

So everytime you want to have a class discussion, not only do you have to know that Jedi Shadow = Sith Assassin, but you have to know which spells on the Republic Side correlate with which spells on the Empire side. It's just messy.

Warhammer online had cloned the classes across sides, but decided to make them different numbers wise and certain affects, and yup it was a balance nightmare.

Played a little last weekend, wanted to make it to level 10 to pvp :(

I wonder if i can play again this weekend?

I didnt like how the mobs spawned so close to the road, but the lightsaber combat is cool cant wait to see more force animations

15 is an awesome amount. A lot more than we thought they were going to launch with. And yeah, it sounds like a dungeon finder will come later. Something about it working for established games.

Yeah I got cock teased bad last weekend beta. Sunday night about to finish the 1-10 jedi story arch and I turned it off thinking i would be home at 4pm to finish monday. Well my other store manager calls in sick so I had to work all day. Get home at 12:05cst, beta was over :-/
