Yea that's was the character select screen music in the beta. This is the first time they used it out of the beta I think.

Yeah With Illum, PvP zones on most planets, and BGs, I don't see the point of rolling on a PvP server.

Except if you like to gank lowbies of course.

There's supposed to be an open PvP planet and PvP areas on planets. Sounds like you can do open world PvP on every server.

Illum is a PvP world? Huh. Just looking and reading about it before it was my favorite, but I don't know now... hrm...

That is awesome, 15 dungeons, 2 raids with I am hoping 5-6 bosses each + PvP + All those quest mini-dungeons.

That is a decent launch plan.

Can't fucking wait.

Two potential end game raid instances and a PvP world to play in. I say that's some beefy end game content for sure. If it all comes together, a lot of people will be happy.

I can't say I'm really surprised, the game has been in the cooker a while, I knew it'd have at least decent endgame content.

This game seems stuffed.

It was confirmed somewhere (I believe DarthHater?) to only take static images (screenshots?) and not videos.

The DDE holocam only takes screenshots while the CE holocam also does videos you mean? Meh, that's lame. :\

No, there's only one version of the holocam and it only takes static images.

Ah, well, i'll keep my pre-order. The trailer sold the game to me once again. I'll probably change my mind a few times though...

BTW, anyone notice that Satele Shan and the unknown Republic Trooper (Havok Squad commander?) with scarred face are the Republic's "face" and Darth Malgus and the Mandalorian Bounty Hunter are the Empire's "face"? Maybe there are more charactes but these duos are prominent.

Could have sworn I read weeks ago that all flashpoints will have heroic / hard versions meant for max level characters. Can anyone else confirm this or did I happen to be drunk and make that up in my mind?

I've heard that. And you can do the hardmode of a flash point, but I've never done it so I don't know how hard it is.

at the panel, they said that each flashpoint has a hard mode for end game.

I just expect a vendor that gives discounts on mostly low level items that make it easier when you're starting out but slowly gets obsolete as you advance

Maybe I am wrong. I personally couldn't justify the cost when preorders went up without having played the game :/

I wish I had been in on the Jaina and Mara talk. You guys posting too fast.

Also, kind of hurting for more TOR after the last weekend. Seriously want to keep going with that IA story. Other beta players: does the SM story hold it's own? If the NDA is holding you back, stomp once for yes, twice for no.

It's a vendor that sells items that are just as good as normal items but with a cosmetic change. The looks of them will be unique and not acquirable anywhere else. The vendor will be selling items for all levels, so it will never not have armor/weapons/etc. that can't be utilized.

I think it was easier when I hadn't gotten into the beta and I saw this thread and just got sad that I was not in the beta.

Now that I had the chance to play for a few days I find it difficult to go back to other games
world of warcraft, other than raiding...
because I really enjoyed what I had the chance to play. December is so far away :(

Finally installed the game on my crummy laptop. At first the game was running like total ass even on the lowest possible settings. I installed nVidia's lastest beta drivers and now it runs at around 30 FPS.

Jace looks the way he does probably for that very reason. Familiarity. If it confuses some folk on the clones, and what timeline this game is, hopefully those people do their research to find out.

The whole reason they went to Kotor is to act like a reboot in the Star Wars universe. I'm all for things looking similar but it's like they WANT to confuse people that this is the clone wars.

I am not going to feel sorry for someone who walks into a gamestop, and purchases this game without knowing something beyond the broad IP (Ooh! Star Wars.). At least the timeline where it takes place, and the basic premise should be known. Though I have bought games with barely an idea of what the game is, I only had myself to blame. $60 purchases are a big deal, so take the time to at least look up what the game is about.
