Nobody cares about the NDA at this point. Bioware's White Knights should stop whining anytime someone says something about the game. It's like the kids in school who thought they were so much better than everyone else because they didn't ever drink alcohol or have sex.

1 week, tops. There's no way it'll be 2 weeks.

My assumption though is likely the Friday before, so the 16th.

Yes i understand that, but it was more like if i could try the game in early acces and still cancel if i dont like it.

All I can say now is that I'll be getting this. Been sold on it. :) It has helped to reignite my SW fandom. All the games and comics to a degree seem to do that while the novels just helping to kill it.

I hate being underleveled for stuff. I will do everything before hopping off a planet.
It's not even a choice there. Well you don't have to do everything but if you hop to the next planet you'll always miss on attacks and get owned.

Yeah you can. If you're in early access you don't have to actually input the key you get from buying the game until a week after launch.

Yeah, no. That's pretty much physically impossible, unless you're playing on a planet that has more than 100 hours in a day ;)

People will hit 50 during the headstart. If you skip all the quest dialog leveling goes quick.

Who cares about players who get to lvl 50 in headstart? These are people who jump into every new MMO, race to level up, and then quit and bitch about the game not having content and going back to WoW. No MMO that comes out is going to satisfy those kind of people, it's basically impossible to please them.

I find it quite loltastic that the NDA is still up 2 months before release.

Take some notes from the DotA 2/Diablo 3 betas.

The confusion though is all over stuff that is not even in the beta yet

those people need to learn how to take their time and enjoy a game instead of rushing to max cap to be the first or whatever else their motivation is for that...

i know i know, to each their own etc. but STILL!!

People always hit level caps quick, some people could care less about the "experience" and just want to get to the end. So be it, I don't care. I plan to enjoy the hell out of the ride.

Oh and why are people still even reading and responding to Morn? Stop feeding the troll

Yeah, there's no elite raiding guilds or anything, and it's not like ToR is an established raiding tier with World First kills and stuff.

Honestly, that stuff just does not matter in this game (right now), and i'll be taking my sweet ass time leveling up.

Even more evidence for the 15 flashpoints (and because I'm a smarmy asshole):

A.j. Artiles: Will there be a "hardcore" difficulty for Flashpoints?

Daniel: Yes, all of the 15 announced flashpoints are also playable at end game with harder difficulty modes and end game gear.

Wow this game is good. I went into it with no hype, seen too many MMOs come and go. The first hour I didn't enjoy, ugly city, ugly character (I'm guessing the character creation is far from done) but later grouping was quite fun. Then I remade as a Jedi Consular, game felt good, very similar to WoW but eh do I really want to play a MMO again? The next day I was getting into the story, it's like playing a Bioware game and Wow at the same time, the fit is so natural. Now I'm thinking how did I ever play a WoW game without the atmosphere and lore that voice acting and interesting conversations bring. How did I play a Bioware game without the feeling that your progression means something in a multiplayer and the ability to do all the quests with friends? This game just jumped above Diablo 3 for me.

There is an actual mandalorian race, though it's usually just those who follow Mandalore.

There is likely no true Mandalorian race anymore by the time of TOR. The neo crusaders and such during the Mandalorian War basically diluted the heck out of it that few of the original race likely remain. Future Mandalores are definitely not pure Mandalorians either and anyone can become Mandalore basically as they believe in "keep what you kill" type of leadership. They pretty much are just a culture.

This is an MMO, none of those people will be reading dialogue.

I foresee this game running out of content very quickly.

If people get to max level in a few days, no MMO will satisfy them for content as every MMO has had people get to max in a matter of the first few days. These are the same people who also quit every MMO and just go back to what they used to play and whine. For those players, content will always run out quickly. Even with double or triple the content, you would get the same results.

It's not a bad amount of content and what matters the most will be post launch support.

I think my problem with getting release day shipping is that now that the CE's are unavailable on Amazon's site, they took down the release day shipping as an option until they get more (which makes no sense in my case since I pre-ordered the shit in July, as soon as it became available for pre-order). I just never checked back when they announced the release date, retardedly so.

Try contacting Amazon CS. They may be able to help you. They're generally preetty good in my experience.

I called them twice, the second time I made sure to mention that I knew for a fact that people have the release day shipping option available to them. She said that at the time of their pre-order they must have had a promotion available at the time but currently it is not available because the CE is being shipped to them from a third party (or something like that) and for me to check back to see if it might come available to me as the release date gets nearer.

Here's the follow up e-mail they sent me:

Does it really matter if you get the CE on release date? You can still play the game if you download it through origins. Your product key has already been submitted right?

Don't even need Origin. The full game is supposed to have it's own client at launch.

I was starting to get worried about the game after all the negativity I read in this thread and lost a lot of the my hype. Now that i've played the beta my Pre-orders are solid, it's just what I was hoping for.

Has to be the most stable beta ever.

IMO I want level 25 mounts to be the landspeeders not speeder bikes. speeder bikes are lame

You'll have something to work towards then? Can't get all the good stuff right off the bat.
