Accepted ya.Orgun said:Man their website really doesnt want you to use anything other than IE, couldnt apply using Chrome.
Looks like you can only be a member of one guild at a time for now. I'll definitely join once they change that.Ferny73 said:I'll make a GAF guild for Empire then since I know theres a couple people on here who wanted to go that side or atleast roll on each side.
Edit: Done... GAF Empire shall take over!

Yeah I know sucks but I think thats only going to last a couple phases...? I shall def be rolling on both sides and guilds.czartim said:Looks like you can only be a member of one guild at a time for now. I'll definitely join once they change that.
In phase 2 we can align the guilds with/against each other so they're on the same server.Ferny73 said:Yeah I know sucks but I think thats only going to last a couple phases...? I shall def be rolling on both sides and guilds.
Ferny73 said:Wow this game is really starting to look amazing. The space combat actually seems in depth and polished and not just throw together.
Rogue Squadron and Star Fox are 2 of my favourite space combat games ever and they're on rails. I don't necessarily think that it is a bad thing.Trickster said:Isn't space combat only limited to being on rails though? I feel that no amount of polish will make that fun :/
It's also optional.Trickster said:Isn't space combat only limited to being on rails though? I feel that no amount of polish will make that fun :/

It can always be changed before the guilds are imported into the game, but it all depends on whether people would rather go PVP than PVE and im guessing most in here would go for the PVE.Deadly said:I would have joined GAF guilds but PVE? I'll have to pass
Yep, I noticed that too. Very nice touch. The animations in general are also much smoother and more fluid now compared to previous builds.BattleMonkey said:Looks to run a whole lot smoother now than previous demos, the UI also seems more complete looking too.
Also really nice to see that they got in the close combat animation synching working now as you can see when two close combat units battle that they actually animate the blades striking against each other like they used to in the KOTOR games when you had close combat.
antonz said:The game has certainly reached a near launch level status. I have to image the delay is for tightening up weak areas etc
Yeah, I assumed most GAFers would rather a casual experience.Ferny73 said:It can always be changed before the guilds are imported into the game, but it all depends on whether people would rather go PVP than PVE and im guessing most in here would go for the PVE.
Arnie said:KOTOR is my favourite game of all time, and I'm so excited to just play this for the Jedi and Sith solo quests, but I really wish they'd announce a Mac version. Worst comes to worst I will just play it through Bootcamp but I'd love a native Mac version.
CcrooK said:So MMOing with a little Star Foxing. I can live with that. And it looks to be shaping up good by the looks of things. Maybe see a Winter release?
BattleMonkey said:I'm thinking early fall probably. I would hope for Summer just to get the game sooner, but I think they rather not release a big game in the Summer and rather get some big show buzz built up before release as well.
Doubt they will have one at launch, they would have announced it already if they were. I would imagine it will be one of the top post-launch priorities, though.Morn said:EA Mythic did a Mac client of WAR using Cider, and EA releases most of their big games on the Mac using Cider, so they're throwing subscription money away by not doing a Mac client at launch.

I hope that person just sucks because watching that made me not want to be a smuggler anymore. The Jedis were flipping and killing shit, the trooper was blasting and the smuggler was daintily strafing around while occasionally point the pistol at something.

Speculated release. The last thing I heard was a April 1st - December 31st release window.

Right now you can only do one at a time. You'll be able to do more at launch.Billychu said:So can we only join one guild at a time? Because I can't apply for GAF republic and GAF empire.
EDIT: Who just does insane damage to people? I just want to see health bars drop.
We can wait and see how well it runs in CrossOver games. I can run Guild Wars fine on my Macbook.Morn said:The Cider wrapper really takes little to no effort to implement. They could have one for launch, and ship for PC/MAC like Blizzard does for WoW, but they seem to be uninterested in potential subscription numbers from a platform with only a couple MMO competitors (WoW, EVE, and WAR).
Seems weird that you can't join two pre-launch when there's two factions.czartim said:Right now you can only do one at a time. You'll be able to do more at launch.
