So am I the only one who hasn't had a single problem? No lag, No login problems and its very smooth playing this.
The ladyfriend has had numerous issues with not being able to accept quest completions.

I've had 2 CTDs, some minor graphical glitches (mouths not moving when speaking, etc), but nothing game breaking. Overall the game runs really smoothly.

I'm sold on this game, sure it plays kinda like wow, but who cares its amazing still.
it´s wow but:

-without such a lame Professionsystem
-with Story
-with cool Companions
-better Graphics
-Spaceship (Fast Travelling from planet to planet > 10min Zeppelin and 10min Flying with the Mount)
-no "10sec stunlock, u can´t do anything and u are dead after this"-PvP
-less completly sensless Funitems
-a real city (sry but where are all the people in wow live? In their shops?)
-blabla

I heard that Vette has Mission Vao's voice actor and is romancable. Switching to Sith Warrior for completely unrelated reasons

So the download finally finishes and the game installs. Now when I click play, the login screen disappears and then nothing happens. There's a process running but no game. I run as admin and get the same result.

It takes a while the first time.

Almost finished playing an Inquisitor to 10. Like the game a lot, but it does need a good deal of tweaking. Some areas really do present a sense of tension and threat of death, other quests that are made out to be big "trials" are monotonously easy.

And despite the linearity, there are a good number of optional quests that aren't necessary screaming out at you to pick them up. Good stuff there.

Played with designing a few other races (played Twi'lek for my Inquisitor), and that's probably where I'm most disappointed. Almost everything feels like "slightly different colored Human", and the Male models are just downright awful looking most of the time. I'm still leaning towards Miraluka for the full face Masks, but god damn I miss Wookiees.

Beta did it's job for me, I'm buyin' it. I had a lot of fun and even if I don't play it long term just playing it's base as co-op will be well worth the asking price.

Funny that the game performance, for me, is exactly like WoW whereas None of the sliders or boxes do a damn thing for me except shadows, which is like a 40 FPS difference just moving it between medium to max.

I don't get it. How do Warzones (The ball game one) pick the winner? Twice I've played, my team tied with the other, yet they won.

If the score is tied, the winner is decided by the team who currently has the ball, or had the ball more recently.

Probably breaking NDA by even saying this but...

Played fine this morning, but wanted to play some after work, and the launcher won't open. Period. The process shows up in task manager and I can end the process, but no sign the launcher has opened up at all besides that.

Great fucking job bioware. I can't even beta test the game itself because your launcher is broken.

How would I go about doing that? PM me if you need to for silly NDA reasons.

Why would I even need to do that, now thats a bug that needs to get fixed quick

Played as Consular up to just after getting my lightsaber. I'm one buff-ass Twi'lek. Going to be sad seeing my weekend beta adventure come to an end tomorrow, but hey - Skyrim awaits!

Just reinstall the game from the setup thing you downloaded at swtor.com/tester

You don't have to redownload the game.

Vette is my favorite companion for sure. Mission's voice actress? Still an awesome blue Twi'lek? Romanceable? Great personality? My waifu.

Well I'm a 13 Marauder right now.

I want to love the game. Star Wars is certainly helping there. I just haven't been wowed yet. Someone told me it gets better later, so we'll see. I might drop this guy and try BH sometime soon. Or play this guy until the end of the beta Sunday night and do something else next weekend.

Play is greyed out because of some 'short' maintenance.

I highly recommend BH. A lot of people say that they're disappointed with the Jedi/Sith classes.

BETA FOR EVERYONE !!

When we started our Beta Testing Weekends, we told you that each weekend would include more testers than the last. We’re excited to announce that later this month we will be conducting our largest Beta Testing Weekend yet, specifically designed to help us stress test our servers in preparation for the launch of Star Wars™: The Old Republic™.

How can you take part in this coming Beta Test Weekend? Well, for starters we are happy to announce that anyone who has signed up for our Game Testing Program prior to today, November 11th, will get invited! Invites will be sent in the coming weeks.

For people who haven’t signed up for our Game Testing Program, you can also get into the Beta Stress Test Weekend through a series of promotions. Be sure to check out the following websites for your chance to grab a Beta Test Weekend Code:
...
Keep your eyes on these sites for your chance to get a Beta Test Weekend Code, as well as how to redeem the code and get into the Beta Test Weekend. Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook to get the latest news about Star Wars™: The Old Republic™.

Stephen Reid wrote:
Does this announcement mean I can play Star Wars: The Old Republic this weekend?

No it does not, unless you have a previous testing invite - either to this weekend or to general Game Testing. The Beta Testing Weekend we are referring to will happen in the next few weeks.

When will the Beta Testing Weekend start?

It will happen in the next few weeks. We'll have an announcement on the exact timing closer to the weekend's start.

Will this be the final Beta Testing Weekend?

Currently, we expect it to be.

Will I be able to download the game client in advance of the weekend?

Yes, we will be sending out invites to download the game client in advance of the weekend.

I have previously tested Star Wars: The Old Republic. Will I get invited to the upcoming Beta Testing Weekend?

Yes, you will. Every person that is signed up and opted in for Game Testing before November 11th will be invited to this Beta Testing Weekend.

What if I do not live in a launch country for Star Wars: The Old Republic?

As long as you are signed up and opted in for testing, you will be invited to test.

What if I have not signed up, or opted in for testing by November 11th?

We are partnering with a number of games media sites worldwide to give away Beta Test Weekend Codes. They are listed in this article. If you receive a code from any of these sites, you will need to sign up on StarWarsTheOldRepublic.com to redeem that code. Further instructions are listed in the post directly below this one.

Should I try and get a key from a media partner, just in case?

If you were already signed up for testing before November 11th, you do not need an additional key. By taking a key, you'll deny someone else a chance to test the game - so please do not apply for a key you will not need!

If you have further questions, please ask them in this thread and we'll try to answer them

The only bug I had so far,(no freezes or disconnects or anything in about 6 hours)and I have seen this a lot,it`s nothing major but some ennemies that you kill, especially if they where in the kneeling position before being attacked, revert back to that position in a dead/ghosted way...looks weird....I also found a few items that the icon is blank.

What a piss off,

I got home yesterday and tried to play the game, which looked terrible, I adjusted graphical settings and w.e and played for a bit and quit the game.

Then later I clicked the shortcut on my desktop and got an error, bad launcher image.

I re-downloaded and installed the game this morning, played for a bit, bad framerate, so I quit the game to update catalyst drivers, click the launcher shortcut....and get the same error.

I am NOT re-downloading the game if it means I can only play it once without quitting...cannot find a solution online.

game barely works for me, IF it loads. ugh. this is a mess on my machine. Got it to load once by picking a server that didn't have a wait time of 6 hours. Good thing the population bars work /extreme.sarcasm

trying to back out of one you picked just freezes the game. clicking anything freezes the game. ugh

edit: yay complaining helps. there's pop bars now..

Man I am getting a terrible frame rate.

I am using 8gigs of ram, phenom x6 and a 5850hd.

I NEED to run this game at max settings, should I update my gpu? what seems to be holding me back?

I've had issues with frame rate. Usually restarting the client helps.

This game sounds incredibly buggy and unstable.

Need to play a free trial of the final game before I even bother. I am not buying and signing up to another MMO only to have it go free to play 6 months after release.

Its actually been damn stable for me. I've had 1 crash I think.

Also it WILL NOT go f2p anytime soon.

Wait a sec, they were saying they were only doing world instancing to prevent server queues. Now it has queues AND multiple instances of each zone.
