Sith Assassin/Jedi Shadow I presume. I haven't really played a lot of WoW but they seem to be similar to Rogues.

I've had better luck with the 11.10's so make sure you're running those. And after you've found in game settings that work for you, restart the client. It seems if you spend 10 minutes playing with graphic settings, you kill your framerate and it doesn't come back without a restart.

Yep. Though Scoundrel Smugglers and Opereative IAs are pretty close too.

Caught up with all the GAF Empire applications. Sites been off and on so whenever I do get a chance to go on, its down and then I forgot later on lol. About a month away from retail though so get excited peoples!

They dont have all the servers up yet. It isn't a 100% guarantee anyways.

They put up new servers yesterday I think. The stress test is probably when we can judge how it will be, but even then, Early Access will be limiting that.

How do you change instances? This thing just tells me that "You may not travel now" so I can't even join up with my party.

ph II x6 1090T @ 3.8ghz with a radeon 6950 and 8 gigs of ram. The game runs really well for me at 5760x1080p . I get a few hick ups but its most likely from the game being unoptimised and existing bugs .


I have no idea whats holding you back. You should certianly fair better than what your getting. Check all the drivers and see what speed your cpu is running at.

Has anyone else had an issue where sometimes the client just shuts down and you are back at desktop with no instance of SWTOR running. It stutters for like a second and then just shuts down. It appears pretty random.

I played wow since launch. And I remember what it was like. There's no reason a game coming out next month shouldn't have a similar feature to what's been in wow for probably about 2 years now.

Changing instances uses up your quick travel. If your quick travel is on cooldown, you can't change instances until it's ready. That means you can only change instances once every 30 min.

They need to change that. It's a hassle getting groups into the same instance sometimes.

Anyone know how gunslingers work on the high end? I'm confused about their energy system and how they don't run out of it constantly in flashpoints and raids.

It's not the only MMO that has it. It really helps to deal with zone congestion - I like that. But, they will have to make sure that getting your group into the same instance is hassle-free by launch.

How to Rogues deal with only have 100 energy in WoW? I can't understand how they don't run out constantly. My mage has 150K mana!

I know that it regens, but the regen seems really slow. Rogue regen is stupid fast by comparison.

And the other MMOs that have it pretty much suck. City of Heroes, Champions Online, Star Trek Online, EQ2... the GOOD MMOs don't do it. The SHITTY MMOs do.

Been playing with character creation for about an hour after reaching 10 on my Sith and training Sith Assassin.

Still extremely disappointed that every race is a recolored human, but maybe we'll see more options in the future.

That being said, torn between Twi'lek and Miraluka. Really can't decide.

Yeah, that sucks. I forgive them for it due to the nightmare of getting the lekku physics somewhat right considering how none of the other races have something so unique about them.

Is your server active? I've had no issues getting in. I kept getting in Huttball, which I don't like so I stopped so making it stopped working since then?

Played a goody two-shoe Jedi, pretty okay.
Playing a bad girl bounty hunter, really awesome.

Guess Bioware is delivering on their story stuff for this game.

I didn't have time to play the beta till today. Ugh.... Think I am going to the gym.

I'll take instancing over server queues, but they need to lose the cooldown.

For an MMO, this is pretty graphics intensive.

Played a Twil'ek Smuggler (light blue ftw), and it was considerably more awesome than my first go through as a Zabrak Bounty Hunter.

Tried an imperial agent up to level 5, story is kind of boring so far and the Hutt planet sucks. Soooo fucking brown. Not liking the Hunter-esque style of the imperial agent. I guess I will try BH next, I figured a ranged class would do really well in pvp. Hopefully closer to launch a detailed breakdown of each class's playstyle will be available before my final decision. I might just stick with Sith Sorc and be a healer.
