Before anyone freaks out. EA's fiscal year ends March 31. We are in Q1 FY12 right now.

Edit: Going by that, I'd guess the current target is early September. Would be amazing if they launched on my Birthday.

I made a wager with a friend that it would come out on September 22nd, so watch for that date. Even though they didn't talk about release date at E3, they still got three big events coming up: Comic-Con, GamesCom and PAX Prime.

Yeah, I'm thinking they're aiming for a late Sept. release but aren't positive they can hit it.

Late Sept/Star-Wars Blu-Ray is looking to be the announcement of the release date, and actual release around Nov to get in on the Holiday rush.

There would be no point in saying it's coming out in Q2 if they weren't aiming for it. They've been saying 2011 all year, had they left it in Q3 no one would have minded.

As unlikely as it is, if ToR, Skyrim, Battlefield 3 and Diablo 3 come out within 2 months of each other, what am I supposed to do? I feel like I'll need to quit uni just to keep up with it all :0

Though I don't even have a machine strong enough to run all 4.......

My concern as well. Looks like 2011 is going to be the best year for PC gaming in a long time.

God damn Skyrim better come out before SWTOR. I'll never get back to it if it doesn't...

Well it looks like bioware will be releasing at least two games per year. This year DA2 and SW: TOR. Next year 2012: ME3 Spring and DA3 Fall ;O!

Probably in 2013 Next-Gen systems will arrive... 2013 will be the 8th year of the 360's release.

I've never found it as hard to choose a class before a game as with this game. After seeing this game in development for a few years i've been able to narrow it down to two.

All that Origin map thing means is either Q2 or Q3. Not late q2/early q3.

So it could still release after BF3, Q3 ends Dec 31st.

Apparently at the Meet & Greet Daniel Erickson claimed that all the storywork for the game is 'finished' and prepped for final launch.

I think most of it has been done for quite some time now. In an interview at PAX East one of the writers said, that his part was done and he had joined the game testing together with some of the other writers.

Yeah I signed up for that 2 years ago and I've since gone back and made sure my computer stats and so forth have been updated.

Not for the rest of us! One of my old guild mates from L2 also got into the beta. Maybe they're rolling out a big wave to remove the focus from the lack of a release date announcement at E3.

Nice. Didn't really like GW1. This should help republic GAF out a bit as I should have a head start on knowledge when the game launches. :p

I am going to be updating the OP with all the new information, and get rid of ALL the old shit.
