Guys, what have you done?! There was a reason we didn't link to that site anymoreSpeculator said:Bioware doesn't condone leaks, but I'd recommend spoiler tag that list to be considerate for players who want to experience the game unspoiled.
Go for it. I'll be Papa_is_a_bear.Fonds said:Ah hell I'm putting it back up. I had removed it due to the fact that we were short on people still.
Syoaran's suggestion of going with Neogaf actually seems pretty logical to me. Agreed?

I'm sure some of the information here will change as we get closer to release.
No worries. I'm just trying to impress Speculator, so he might reward me with a beta invitation. Notice how I managed to mention my username in the very same post!Derwind said:My bad. Blacked out it is.....
Sorry, I really didn't know there was a reason people didn't link that site. T_T

NeoGAF has been founded. Get yourselves over to swtor.com and look for NeoGAF if you're looking to apply to our European guild!

Whoever leaked that pulled a dick move. That thread was assembled by testers to help other testers, and if stuff like that keeps leaking we might not be allowed to collate information anymore.Derwind said:Not sure if the list is complete but the Q&A gave some detail from testers forums.

On the contrary it's probably helpful for them to see how effectively players can discover things for themselves. Lists like the one above are luxuries, and leaking them ruins it for everyone.B-Dex said:If they actually want people to test they need to tell you what the companions do/are etc... shouldn't have to scrounge for info scraps from other testers.

Also that list is not fully updated. It is not complete.
I agree, at this point people can just wait. I understand interest in gameplay mechanics, but everything else is lame.Ignis Fatuus said:Whoever leaked that pulled a dick move. Fonds said:Besides the regular updates I think i'm going to deprive myself of anything else. I'll probably get halfassed impressions and I'm just going to want more and more and more of an information fix.
We can't be that far along now anyways. Time to pour my time into recruiting for our lovely guild.
Already 3 strong! And we're not even all jedi knights! PM me or look us up at swtor.com to join NeoGAF.

Problem is, I'm not even sure what the companions for Consular will be at the end. Or if healer end game is that necessary for what I want to do.
Jedi knight does look tempting...
Derwind said:Yeah, I myself plan to specialize in stealth/melee with the odd force bombs & buffs, I'm not going anywhere near healing tree's with my Consular. Shadow FTW!!!
Giolon said:Why are you so afraid of playing a Healer?
I've played a healer in Cata for the past 6 months for the first time ever (played Mage for the 5 years prior). Soloing as a healer in WoW is an abysmal experience.Derwind said:I play healer too much in MMO's, I want to succeed in a new niche and I'm digging the Jedi Shadows EU back story. =D
Giolon said:Where is this EU backstory on Jedi Shadows? The Consular has the most incomplete public info of all all the base classes.
The prospect of being able to spec heals but have a companion that can do damage for me is really exciting. I like playing a healer but doing anything solo was really painful, and keeping up two sets of gear is a hassle.Giolon said:I've played a healer in Cata for the past 6 months for the first time ever (played Mage for the 5 years prior). I think it's ok to say I have been playing Heal-spec'd Sage in TOR test. Bioware has added NPC companions for more than just story reasons. I don't want to say more than that. (I really hope that's not too far to get me banned).

Buuuut it seems like it's really good going from all the impressions. I could make a 1 time pass on my Steam exclusive rule.
Jibbed said:This is the first time I've ever found myself excited for an MMO
Haven't seen much of proper gameplay yet though... anyone had a decent amount of time in testing yet? New as you've probably guessed, I don't want to go back through loads of pages to find info.
Giolon said:The blatant leakers are really starting to get under my skin. We made a promise to Bioware not to reveal information in exchange for the opportunity to play the game a little early and help them out in the process. These people are just shameful.
Fonds said:I think origin makes sense though. Why let others make profit off of your product when you need them to distribute your own stuff.
Besides, I can hardly imagine needing to install the game from origin besides patches if there is a cd inside the box? Isn't the website just there to validate your key?
Not even close.CcrooK said:Meaning, most leaked info out there is accurate I assume?

CzarTim said:Don't worry dudes, by this time next year EA will have abandoned Origins just like they always do with this kind of stuff. Just some middle management guy trying to make VP.
Except you don't even need Origins on your Machine to play TOR.syoaran said:I doubt it. This isnt a flash in the pan for inferstructure, and they've been wanting to bring in their own digital rights and develop system for quite some time. With SWTOR coming up, it became the perfect time to set Origins up (probably amongst the same data clusters) and reduce cost by doing so.
Origins worth in the industry will be directly died to SWTOR's success at how well they can integrate perks and rewards from ordering directly from EA into SWTOR (like Valve do with TF2 hats for pre-orders).
Xamdou said:So I can buy the the cd version of swtor (Hoping for a Special or Collectors edition) from a local retail store, open the case to see my cd-key and activate the key in origins so I dl the digital version thus not needing a cd to play the game!?

I agree with you. With the 2 year strategy EA presented last week, I don't see them abandoning Origin any time soon. Now I just need them to acknowledge Europe and include us in their next "sale".syoaran said:I doubt it.
