All these people in the beta without time to play.

At least I'm a hobo student that just started his 2 month holiday. I've got loads of time to play and I'm ordering shit like enslaved to keep me occupied.

We've now hit the 10 member mark with the European NeoGAF guild.
If you're interested in becoming an officer for the guild just give me a poke. Early members should have privileges :)
Just give me a poke if you want to be promoted. I'll think of other ranks once the game is here for the others.

Sort of interested in joining EU GAF guild... but i have no idea whether i start playing as Imperial or Republican(lol) first. Nor do i have any idea what class i will roll first...

Apply for the guild later. Try out in OB/launch classes and pick what you like the best. You can always roll other classes if you decide the class you picked wasn't for you.

Not that we know of, but maybe there are better (animal?) mounts available later on.

Didn't they clarify and say that there's a bigger test for the sign-ups but no straight OB. Meant this expanded test.

Yes they'll open up to more players, but it wont be an open beta.

I hope warzones are restricted to player characters. Not that I don't like the use of pets (because at this point and from the E3 footages I've seen they do act like pets, correct me if I'm wrong).

There is only one option for pve or pvp in THE Guild settings, but I'd like to do both actually.

On the topic of speeders.

The speeder is learned from someone in ranks. I think there might be faster ones.
Correct me if im wrong.

Kinda would see them being restricted to PCs later on. Imagine huge warzone with bunch of players pvping and then 50 companion As. Would make anyone confused :D

Wait, so you're almost at cap already? Is this the hard cap or the beta cap (if there is one...)?

What happened to the supposed 200 hours of story per class comment? I mean, I didn't really believe that... but I thought it'd at least be somewhat close to that because they were being generous.

Didn't they also say that there would be storycontent after hitting the cap?

I'm sure there is... but I'm trying to get some sort of perspective here. Let's say they're being generous and its 150 hours of story content per class, not 200.

If people are getting through their class storyline and reaching cap in, say 50-75 hours... that's quite a bit of content still left to do but without any character progression except for new items.

If that's the case, ok, just trying to understand the reality of things here or if that 200 number that was thrown around earlier is nothing but a big farce.

but there's still social points, story content itself and light/dark-side points not talking about romancing stuff.

Not all the content is in the beta.

Also no matter what they say, lot of gamers are going to just blaze through the game and get to "endgame" alot faster than 200 hours.

I signed up for beta so late that I know there's no way I'm getting in. Even if they do high impact testing, there's just no way. So sitting here reading about you guys having fun with the game is killing me slowly. I really need a way to forget about ToR for a while. Leveling my Paladin in WoW was helping for a good long time but now I'm kind of in the phase of waiting for patch 4.2 to drop. Maybe I'll try out TF2 now that it's free to play forever.

Yeah well, they don't give a shit about opting-in date. I signed on the forums the date the game was announced. No one invited me. I've seen people to join month ago and get in the beta.

Well I never said it was WoW. I merely used dungeons as a word to describe what is generally known as 'instanced group content' in MMOs. TERA is even more different, it still has 'dungeons'. I've always been impressed by how much content Blizzard gave with expansions, and as such I'm always, ALWAYS sad to see how little content almost every other MMO has in comparison. I worry that with so much focus on story, somehow group content won't be a lot in TOR. But it's a good thing I'm worried, it means the game is filling my needs/expectations in other aspects. I just hope they also deliver on this front.
