I feel you. I can't play much this week. My main is only 12 levels from cap too.The_Inquisitor said:Bahaha. Didn't get to play much this weekend because I was busy getting my stuff in order for work. But yeah.

Yup. Check the OP.Ignis Fatuus said:Is there even an Imperial GAF guild? The Force needs some balance.

Applied. I won't be telling the Republicans where to find the phattest lewts.CzarTim said:Yup. Check the OP.

I'm doing that tonight. Really excited. It's been almost a year since I last had my hands on the game.Darknessbear said:So dangerous only playing this game at a friends house for an hour... I just want MORE now! GAH!

Apply for the guild later. Try out in OB/launch classes and pick what you like the best. You can always roll other classes if you decide the class you picked wasn't for you.Woorloog said:Sort of interested in joining EU GAF guild... but i have no idea whether i start playing as Imperial or Republican(lol) first. I think it's still up for discussion. Better let them know how you feel!Ignis Fatuus said:Whoa whoa whoa, I just noticed that the GAF guilds are PvE. This is unacceptable to me, I'm not going to waste a perfectly good ganking toon.

There's not going to be an open beta from what I understand.Yaska said:Apply for the guild later. Try out in OB/launch classes and pick what you like the best. You can always roll other classes if you decide the class you picked wasn't for you.
Didn't they clarify and say that there's a bigger test for the sign-ups but no straight OB. Meant this expanded test.Ignis Fatuus said:There's not going to be an open beta from what I understand.

Yes they'll open up to more players, but it wont be an open beta.Yaska said:Didn't they clarify and say that there's a bigger test for the sign-ups but no straight OB. Meant this expanded test.
bjaelke said:You can still use them in open world PvP, which BioWare hasn't really talked about (maybe I'll know more later today). Then again, everything in the beta is subject to change, although I doubt/hope they keep warzones exclusively to player characters.

Kinda would see them being restricted to PCs later on. Imagine huge warzone with bunch of players pvping and then 50 companion As. Would make anyone confusedThe_Squirrel_Menace said:Thanks for the replies.
I hope warzones are restricted to player characters. Not that I don't like the use of pets (because at this point and from the E3 footages I've seen they do act like pets, correct me if I'm wrong).

Didn't they also say that there would be storycontent after hitting the cap?Artadius said:Wait, so you're almost at cap already? Is this the hard cap or the beta cap (if there is one...)?
What happened to the supposed 200 hours of story per class comment? I mean, I didn't really believe that... but I thought it'd at least be somewhat close to that because they were being generous.
I'm sure there is... but I'm trying to get some sort of perspective here. Let's say they're being generous and its 150 hours of story content per class, not 200.Yaska said:Didn't they also say that there would be storycontent after hitting the cap?

but there's still social points, story content itself and light/dark-side points not talking about romancing stuff.Artadius said:I'm sure there is... but I'm trying to get some sort of perspective here. Let's say they're being generous and its 150 hours of story content per class, not 200.
If people are getting through their class storyline and reaching cap in, say 50-75 hours... that's quite a bit of content still left to do but without any character progression except for new items.
If that's the case, ok, just trying to understand the reality of things here or if that 200 number that was thrown around earlier is nothing but a big farce.

Yeah well, they don't give a shit about opting-in date. I signed on the forums the date the game was announced. No one invited me. I've seen people to join month ago and get in the beta.Confused101 said:I signed up for beta so late that I know there's no way I'm getting in.

Ignis Fatuus said:It's not WoW. Dungeons and Flashpoints are not equivalent; Flashpoints are far more elaborate and far longer. Some are split into multiple chapters because they're so long. Similarly, the group quests and group areas found frequently on every planet have no equivalent in WoW. They're not quite dungeons, even though some are instanced, but they're not just some elite mobs sitting in the open world like in WoW either. Tackling those quests is an undertaking that often involves trekking through unique areas with difficult objectives and a full group at your back.
It's not uncommon to find an entire large, unique facility on a planet built for a single group quest, and you may never see that same type of facility ever again. There are many of these on every planet.
And there are more Flashpoints than those that you've seen. Taken together there is absolutely more group content than WoW.
Don't think of the game in WoW terms. It is not a clone.
Means most likely the test for market research survey.Woorloog said:What?
