I'm not sure what kind of sources he has, but it's always been a very plausible scenario regardless. I'd personally expect Hellblade 2 before Indiana, it would make more sense to release first on xbox and then 6 months to a year later on PS5. Announcing now before release just kills what little momentum xbox sales could have had.
100% agree Xbox should have a six month release on all games they publish and than release in ps5 or others, the issue however comes when they have a “mediocre” game that if released on Xbox and gets bashed it would hurt sales on other consoles. That and GAAS would suffer.

Two different tweets. The one in the OP was yesterday.
Seems like OP’s tweet is just a repost of the exact same video from another guy that the ”superfan” posted in February.

No news here. Still worth talking about in broader terms but maybe better in an official ”speculate the future of the industry” thread.

Yeah, but the vids are the same aren't they?

That has to be the funniest looking image of a fanboy meltdown lol.

This comes from before Xbox announced Doom was going to be on PS and didn't announce Starfield or Indy for PS.

A cracker of a thread from OP

I only trust HipHop gamer for Xbox news.

It's a safe bet at this point that Bethesda games are all coming to PS5, and likely on day 1 when possible. Better question is what will they do with Xbox Game Studios titles. A 1-2 year delay on PS5 seems likely for now.

Lol, Stanfield is dogshit. No one even plays it.

Edit, it's coming out for PS5 and Pro?!?! Game of the fucking year!!

It when he says... "I'm still processing this and it feels like a betrayal." is when I started to chuckle.

NeoGAF really needs to enforce better standards for the sources we allow. Like we had that thread from fucking Icon Era used as a source first and now this nonsense

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?

For refernece, 3 out of the last 4 threads Daniel_Mallorca1985 Daniel_Mallorca1985 made were:

1. 6 month old video retweeted by a twittard
2. Sourced Iconera (deleted)
3. A Destin tweet from June 2023

This boy's going places :messenger_grinning_sweat:

😂😂😂

Very excited for the next thread, which will be based off of a YouTube comment talking about how Phil will personally release the Master Chief Collection on PS5, on a PushSquare video talking about why Sony is the best

Yeah if you add up all the flights to see greenberg and Spencer everywhere they turn up lol
Heh I don’t think even that would get it to 100,000+ dollars.

I have lots of stuff written down, for ”fun” I could add up my total hardware cost for all console brands and PCs in the hobby since I started gaming 40 years ago…

Edit:
Super nerd chiming in 🤓

Rough estimates for my total gaming cost…

Hardware: $28,650
This is all Commodore computers, all consoles with all Slims/X/Pro, all PCs and upgrades, since the early 1980s.

Software: $37,800
Extreme rough estimate, too lazy to go count everything and look up the price I bought them at, the math is this:
7 generations * 3 brands * 30 games per platform * $60 each

Rough total estimated gaming cost:
$66,450
Lets say $70,000 and all joysticks and controllers are included too.

It’s a lot but this is over 40 years and all platforms.

And this guy, ”hundreds of thousand dollars” on Xbox alone?
🤨

Makes sense. Just go PC Hybrid next generation.
I’m ready for my ASUS-Xbox with custom ROG lighting. Or maybe and gigabyte-Auro-Xbox with that cool hawk logo all lit.

Xbox/gamepass and steam on the same box… emulators, for Nintendo and old PS stuff… steam for my non Xbox and my PS- PC ports… all on the one box. Inna streamlined console like box that perhaps has upgrade GPU and NVME and ram slots. But all done inna very sleek console like, sleek, fire and forget, type of experience.

Im excited for that.

This reeks of desperation, from that guy....and from Neogaf for posting everything that moves on Twitter...

The post is sad. The dude is sad. But I don’t care since it’s amusing as hell. At least something to laugh about in between the meetings.

So props to the OP for digging out some random crying about Starfield in PS5, lol.

Yeah. My own quick estimate is that I've spent maybe 20K over 24 years (which is the lifespan of the Xbox). If he spent "hundreds of thousands" over that same time period, he would have had to spend $10,000 a year, every year, for 24 years.

I guess that's possible if you game constantly and buy everything including Xbox shoes and socks and underwear, but sheesh, what a waste.
