I have made it clear in previous posts before that i have owned and supported Xbox before during the 360 era. I changed over during this gen because PS4 just had more compelling games for me and so I picked up on. Do i prefer Playstation? Yes. Am I against Xbox? No. Would i own both? Yes if i could but nowadays i'm actually afraid of owning both consoles because i'll just keep buying games for both and there's not enough time to play them all.

It's this tit for tat thing that comes off as childish and immature and it need not be the factor that ruins discussion for both machines. Some people in the industry have since left forums and that's because of this.
Some Sony fans make me shake my head too. Its both camps in the end that are guilty. The forums are meant to be a place where one can come and chat about awesome games and whatnot.

I'm hoping and praying that the games on both Xbox Series X and PS5 end up being so close that any differences will be negligible and not worth discussing. That would be the best case scenario. If its not then it will be 360 vs PS3 and Xbox One vs PS4 all over again (sigh)

I have had to block numerous posters on here, not because they're bad people or anything but because they are shitting up every single thread with pathetic Fanboy crap and I'm really interested in reading about the PlayStation 5 just as I was when the Xbox series X was announced... I don't give a shit which machine ekes out more power, both seem compelling to me. More than anything I'm just glad there is no wasted peripheral like the Kinect being shoved down our throats this time. Im looking forward to finding out more info for both consoles. It's one of the most interesting time to have this hobby after all, the build up to new launches. News on this stuff really makes it apparent who the special members of our community are.
