It was the sole reason for me buying it in the recent GMG sale v_v

I bought Skulls of the Shogun solely because the game's foils are still worth a pretty penny. Needless to say, my master plan to have it literally pay for itself didn't quite pan out. But I did fall short by only a mere buck.

Edit: To clarify, I didn't receive a foil, just regular cards.

Is it weird that I actually like the approach Irrational took with the Infinite Season Pass?

They didn't cut content from the main game. Instead, Irrational made the best game they could, shipped the product, and then began work on the DLC.

It remains to be seen what kind of quality will come out of these releases, but it seems like a much better policy than some of the cash-ins we have seen.

Of course, I generally don't buy DLC, especially sight unseen. So I don't have too much stake in the matter.



This sentence basically describes BL1 and BL2.

I think the Infinite season pass is pretty gross. I think there's an expiration date on story based DLC and it's rapidly approaching. They can take all the time they want to make it but they shouldn't have taken money up front to fund it. It's essentially a preorder paid in full with no release date.

Yeah I guess its a good thing not to cut stuff but they take their time something fierce anyway.. I mean damn took them 3 months to fix that stuttering bug... I already uninstalled it anyway 26gbs is to big to have taken up if I'm done with it... Still think they should have just made a least one of the DLCs same time as the game, and released it a least 2 month out.
Don't really care about MP games taking their time to release DLC 3 to 4 months apart.. but I barely played any of the season pass in BL2.. I just hope I care and I'm interested enough for the BI DLC.. But from now on I'm done with season passes.. until 50% sales or more.

I don't fully understand your question.

You can check how many card drops you get for a game in your profile. Every single time a card is dropped, you have a chance to earn a foil.
I believe the chance is 1/100 for a foil.

I don't see why Valve would limit foil drops to one per game considering they drop infrequently enough as it is and, F2P games aside, you only get a few drops before you have to resort to trading/buying. As for regular cards, they can go back up in price; for example, the other day I noticed that Super Meat Boy cards were sitting at 55~60c rather than the ~45c they were at the last time I had a look.

Still need to get to the "end of BM" but I really liked it looks soo good.. Was insanely better than the PS2 version of HL may first time through You already started 2 though just finish it, BM isn't the whole game anyway..
