Picked up Final Fantasy XIII, but I'm thinking about getting VII and IV. How are the ports for these? I've never played either so I figure I should pick them up now.

You're still clicking manually? My dude. Why would you ever.

I'd just upgrade the auto-click damage when I was actually paying any attention to it.

Now I just enter a game and don't even upgrade anything.

And I like that the sale isn't that great, I'm saving money!

Grabbed Pillars of Eternity today, though I probably won't start it for a while.

Not the greatest sale but my two item wishlist is now checked off, so... good enough.

Why is ESO not on sale while Elder Scrolls franchise is?
Is it sealed that it won't be ever on sale this summer? Or there's still a chance later on daily/flash deals?

My internet(DSL) is 5dwn 1up(best I can get in my area since Comcast is forcing other companies out and i refuse to go with comcast, fuck them.) I am downloading FF13 50gigs, watching this slowly download is a fucking nightmare..up to 17gigs good news it no longer says 2 days since steam server are max load at the moment i can't even reach my max Download speed, downloading at 400k FML..

Screw it, my first Steam sale game is gonna be Metal Gear Rising at $7.49. Lowest recorded sale is $5.99 but I've been craving a good action game, so that's alright.

Ha, I was just here checking lowest recorded price. Thanks though!.

It's worth full price. You'll feel bad for paying so little.

Good. I've been wanting to play this gem for a long time.

Is there a way to see other regions store? The ?/cc=us trick doesn't work anymore...wtf Valve???

The secret world is b2p now right? Anyone else thinking of getting it/ know if the community is alive?

The game is cross-server and has its own niche community. Low and high level dungeons party is easy to find, but mid level kinda hard except during events so I recommends joining any Cabal at that point (aka Guild) so that you can find someone.

Dungeons are all optional though, no worries.

I have a friend who is over level 1 million... not even sure how that is possible...

I honestly don't even know why these people are bothering at this point. They've gone way past the point of sanity.

Edit: Also, Abyss Odyssey went on flash sale. WOO! I need my goddamned cards to start selling with a bit more haste.

Had to do my first Refund request, Call of Duty 1, UO , and 2 all crash with a can't find steam option. I tried everything to run them.

I'm feeling more and more like 66% is the new 75% on Steam. Never before have I seen so many year-old games still selling for $10+ on dailies. Not holding out much hope for huge Asscreed discounts at this point. If Subnautica hits $15 or less I'm buying it and closing the Steam tab until Sunday.

Also, we'll all be playing Batman soon anyway.

Is the Telltale Game of Thrones worth it at 15? I bought the Telltale Borderlands earlier in the sale and it's hilarious, probably the best thing they've done (imo) since WD season 1. But I've heard the GoT series is pretty linear. True?

I don't think Grisaia will get any cheaper, it released just before the sale started.

To be fair so did Neptunia Rebirth 2 and that was 70% off lol. The more expensive VNs though seem to be more in it for the long haul, rather than have large sales to try and sell as many as possible. They also value those VNs as being worth the price they charge (because they have plot instead of "plot"), unlike the cheaper ones where they know that the only reason people like them so much is because they're borderline hentai, which is why the cheaper ones always go on sale.

Aren't all the Telltale games very linear?

joined a game in the level 40000s and this thing is still moving like fucking lightning too

They're using scripts for the large part. At this point is feels like just trolling Valve so Valve have to add even more badge tiers.

Coordinated use of wormholes lets you jump ridiculous numbers of levels.

(@Nabs) Speedrunners is legit. Super ugly character design aside, it's a blast to play, easy to pick up, with simple controls that still offer a lot of depth. I'm not a huge fan of the wall-jumping, but it allows for a lot of finesse. I've only played it a bit in single player and vs. bots, but I can see it being a riot with friends.
