WTF.. where was this done NYC? I don't even make 50k a year (around 45k + with overtime) and I am in my 40s. My wife the same, but makes about 5k less, but we live comfortably and own a home, 2 vehicles, no debt, 3 pets. I highly doubt the average individual salary is 60k. Most jobs in PA don't pay that unless you are in a high demand trade.

Yeah same here lol, I make less than 55K per year yet still live extremely comfortably.

The problem with PC is its a much broader range. I would love to know the average yearly income of the people who own Nvidia 4000 series cards exclusively.

About 30k. Seems low here. And the work salary goes to food, family, clothes, house, car, electricity. No fun allowed.

But I’ve been riding the stock market roller coaster on and off for a long time. Nvidia is up +170% so far in 2024, already earned back the $3500 PC in the living room and $1000 PS5 Pro that way.

I believe that's common. Many actors do a training session right before filming a scene, that way the muscles seem bigger/more developed.

You can’t actually. You only achieve statistical significance over the population that you sample. Anyone who tells you otherwise is making up excuses to be lazy to extend the conclusions of the study over a wider population than the math allows. In the context of this post, if the sampling was only done in the US, for example, then the conclusions only apply to the US.

You might not see a perfect distribution of the represented audience but my guess is that the socioeconomic backgrounds of “gamers” are similar enough that >1000 respondents would be sufficient in producing a 90%+ confidence level with a 5% margin of error.
