It was the first thing that popped up in my local anime store, so I thought it was the first game. I also thought there was no overarching plot and was just random court cases.
Persona counts? lol
And damn i thought this game was recent lol. oh well. im afraid to google stuff about it because i dont want to get spoiled.
I started with katawa shoujo too.. i even got 100% i wish the reward was better. The some of bad ends are pretty rough. Persona 4 is the best visual novel ever.
But there is tho! Now go back and play the first and then justice for all if you can bear the terribleness of it.

The Anime is a straight 1 for 1 adaptation of the manga, you really dont need to read it. Just watch it.
