I find it amazing how one engine in these LMP1's lasts an equivalent of 12 Formula 1 races.
Honestly I think WEC LMP is where the action is for top level tech. F1 is too bogged down in politics.

So... what happened with the Porsche? Saw it pulled off to the side, anything wrong?
Ignoring the car being on fire so they can refuel the car first... Dedication.
Audi #2 gets the shaft on safety car timing... again.
Another safety car !
Whats happened ?
Dammit, Comcast doesn't carry Fox Sports 2. Shit I miss, the regular Speed channel that covered racing properly. Where is a good place to watch the race - any streams since Fox Sports 1 is ending. (Watch Fox 2 stream - love Bob Varsha and the gang.)
Night is falling slowly and then, weird things happens in Le Mans - like 458 suddenly turning into LMP1s

and one more thing - that headlights on LMPs, how strong are they?
Comcast (Xfinity) here, too. Just get the Fox Sports GO app, (if your provider is eligible), as they stream the entire race without commercial interruption. Stream to your TV via HDMI and you're set.
Night time, baby.
Love night racing, so much.
According to their schedule Fox Go will only stream for an hour, but I'll check it out!
edit: Is this only for mobile?
Terribly costly pit stop for the #73 Corvette. Air jack malfunction, of all things.
There's a PC version as well. It's what I'm watching on right now.
This is my favourite time of the race, the cars look so good in this light.
Joy - it requires windows 8 lol....
There's no lovelier sight in all of racing. None.
My bad, I should have mentioned that.
Those headlights are like looking in the sun.
I haven't seen them run at night yet but in previous years the LED headlights on the Audis were like suns.
They were inspired by the Audi road cars that drive 1m away from your back bumper with high beams and fog lights on.

How did the #20 Porsche lose two laps on the lead?
It started slowing down to about +6 secs per lap and Hartley made a few mistakes. Webber doesn't seem to have the pace either, or the car has an issue.
It's just been stated that after Hartley got out and Webber took over that they're nursing a problem with the car.

Seems like a reasonable guess. Would account for the lap times.must be something with their hybrid system
This is Le Mans, though! The equipment isn't bandaided and duct taped together to last for 2 hours, it has to make it for a whole 24.It's Webber. Of course the car has a problem.
What are the flashing lights that you sometimes see trackside? Are they triggered by cars towards the end of a high speed straight?
They're aids for the marshalls. So flashing blue is a blue flag means you're slow and should let someone pass for instance.
Yes they can. White would mean a warning to drivers that there's a very slow car ahead - most likely one recovering to the pits with a problem.I getcha, can they flash white? As I'm sure that's what I saw.

So how's Porsche coming along? I'm a big Porsche-phile so it's a little disheartening seeing them holding in 4th and 5th place.
