Fantastic setting, ridiculous names and a masked character whose identity is obvious to everyone.
Yeah this is a Tomino Gundam.
I loved the first two episodes. I really like the art direction and the production values so far are pretty great.
Really excited for it. People seem to think it's slow so far but it's just the right pace for me.

It's pure Tomino, but I'm afraid that pure Tomino may bomb hard these days.
The dialog is poor, the editing is bad, and the way the show treats its female characters so far is outright sexist at times. If it wasn't Tomino, I'd safely say it's probably the worse Gundam show opening. But it's Tomino, so you're holding out that hope that it'll get better.
But yeah, I think it's going to Turn-A. It'll turn off most others, but be fondly appreciated by Tomino fans.
Great character and mech designs though.
Scandal is an old seasoned vet with its fuckery. Murder already stretching the limits of its believability and it's only episode 2. Viola has been nothing but mean and incompetent so far, which is somehow a step back from Olivia being talk no jutsu personified.
I gotta say, I'm impressed with just how bold Rhimes is in her writing. Perhaps brazen is a better term. Shit's ridiculous. Olivia showing up buck ass nude wearing nothing but cowboy boots was a solid move, I gotta say.

Shonda's shows are ultimately hindered by the fact they air on ABC.
I find him annoying too but ticket sales show that people don't really mind him in movies

I can agree with that I guess. Show is 80's as fuck.
but I mean fuck today's market imo. I never stopped watching 80's anime so a lot of the stuff people seem to have gripes with I don't even notice.(The editing, the dialog, the casual violence lol)
