So does anyone know what's going on with Gundam Wing Glory of the Losers manga? I know it's going on still. I haven't seen any updates in a bit and was just wondering.
Was it some inside joke that some characters tend to call another character with their full name?
Ash Like Snow is probably the best one in Gundam History. Soooo good and not just a collection of panning images.

J-pop from the 80s was absolutely terrible. :\Sure I guess. As long as you ignore everything that aired before 2000.
I didn't follow the situation that much, but I guess Deacon & friends are simply falling behind? It was pretty incredible for them to always be up to date until recently.
I just checked Zeonic and it's up to date, so I'm not too sure of what you're talking about :x
Gundam Wing was the only pre-2000 Gundam show whose opening I could stomach. Apart from that there's just way too much soft jpop... thank god Bandai realized an opening should pump you up for the episode, and switched to rock or techno for the most part.
one of my favorite Youtube comments:ZZ still has the best opening in Gundam and anyone who says otherwise should die.
J/K on the dying part, but when the switch from caveman through Amuro/Kamille/Judau was brillant and one of my favorite OP moments ever.
As for music, eh much prefered SEED's OP's in both music and overall content to OO's.
J-pop =/= J-rock, as I'm sure you know. There's definitely a harder edge to the Seed, Destiny, and 00 intros (for the most part. Seed had a few stinkers).Whaaaaaaaaa-?!
2000s Gundam OPs are MUCH more "jpop"-ish than 90s, I'm not sure what you're talking about?
I mean, seriously, we went from this:

G Gundam: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odBK6h_mNX8
Gundam X: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJ8XH5JGyzQ

To this:
SEED: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OM2MHApogGg
Destiny: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2b3hh_gundam-seed-destiny-op-2_music?search_algo=1
or worst offender : http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xeicx_gundam-seed-destiny-op-4_news

Note that I'm not saying 90s OPs were better or anything (that's not my point), only that 2000s OPs are much more pop-ish and less original.
Oh god, what's wrong with you? xDI actually really enjoyed Destiny's 4th op (which you so ardently called out, haha).
Sure I guess. As long as you ignore everything that aired before 2000.
*jaw drops* Damn. This site does really impressive papercrafts.
I like the Gundam songs Andrew W.K. covered >_> Aside from those, I like The See-Saw & Chiaki Ishikawa songs used:
See-Saw
Chiaki Ishikawa: Prototype & Mou Nanimo Kowakunai, Kowaku wa Nai
Kinda biased though, love her and have bought all of her albums (as well as See-Saw) + a bunch of singles <_<
Wat? 6 is basically a year away?Gundam Unicorn Vol.6 = Spring 2013. They also announced a Gundam Unicorn Vol.7, which will be over one hour long. That will be the climax.
Wat? 6 is basically a year away?
Nice WIP Jube3. I hope one day they give us an MG Kshatriya.
Wat? 6 is basically a year away?
Still is 64.90 for me...
Ah, that's likely it. It currently shows "Takes 5 to 15 days to ship".
When do they tell us the next tv gundam?

They've already said they're animating Gundam: The Origin. Hopefully it'll be the next TV Gundam!
The Origin? Isnt Age an origin story, or for that matter Gundam 00? Unless Im missing something, all those were the first time people saw Gundams?

I don't think it'll work as a TV series and I honestly wouldn't hope for it to be. With Unicorn being extended by another 1-2 years, I can't see Origin going anywhere fast. We might not even hear anything about it until later in 2013.
They're not going to make The Origin the next TV Gundam series because it's boring. I don't want to be stuck with a retelling of 0079 for 1-3 years of TV Gundam before they make another original Gundam TV series.
I'm fine with it as an OAV, but the whole point of Gundam TV shows are to create new series, new stories, new characters, and most importantly NEW GUNDAMS (these sell the toys during the 1-3 year period of popularity).
They could do a UC Gundam TV show if they want, but it'd need to be original. Even as popular as Unicorn was, it didn't get a TV run because it wasn't original. Gundam TV shows are new series and a big thrill of them is not knowing what will happen next.
Anyhow, this might be a bit premature since AGE has possibly destroyed the Gundam TV franchise for the time being. Might have to pull another 4-5 year "break" before they do more Gundam TV thanks to baka Hino.
