Bleach = 2 month fight, 2 month fight, some plot advancement every 1-2 years.
Naruto = 2 month fight, 2 month fight, some plot advancement every 6 months.
One Piece = 1-2 week fights (outside final bosses), lots of story advancement every 1-2 months.

Naruto/Bleach are the example of dragged out shounen manga. OP is how you do a shounen version of the most epic adventure ever.

Why not spend the time reading a GOOD shonen series so that you don't set yourself up for disappointment every week?

reborn is still one of the series that i read, but i dont like the future arc much. i havent read this weeks chapter, but i know tsuna is gonna squash the moscas. eyeshield 21 however... i dont know why, but it has to be my favorite jump series next to one piece now....

The Red line was where they first entered the Grandline. It is a huge strip of land that encircles the world. Basically the grandline is like the equater and the Red line is like the Prime Meridian. They both go arond the whole world, but the Red line goes around in longitude. So when traveling across the grandline (equator) you would cross the Red line (prime meridan) twice. So the Strawhats are literally on the opposite side of the world from where they were before

The only way Kubo's been able to make them seem intimidating was by saying "well there's ANOTHER group above these arrancar", and when we finally got to the Espada, they're getting destroyed by some Captains without a sweat?

No he's not. Kabuto grafted orochimaru's flesh onto his body and it has a parasitic effect, Orochimaru and his real self/sould resided in Sasuke. He's done.

I was hoping though that Orochimaru would have fought Itachi but gotten beaten and had a flashback where Jiriaya beat him as well and say something like "It's just like that time" Then he'd die and Jiriaya would *show up* and pull him up into the afterlife or something.

I'm not liking the way that he's ruining the relationship between the Sannin. Could have fleshed it out so much more.

Yep. As much as I actually liked the snake dude at one point, stick a fork into him. He's sealed away permanently in a Genjutsu or whatever. Agreed, very much so.

Better yet, have Itachi take Sasuke's eyes first. That would serve to take Sasuke down a few more pegs, making Naruto saving his ass all the better, and would actually go a bit more to probably restoring the two's friendship....before Kishimoto decides to then turn Sasuke into some sort of super-jutsu using Daredevil, or something of that sort. :lol
