Top Gun: Maverick impressions from CinemaCon.

I’m ashamed I didn’t watch it on theaters..

But oled + sonos system was not bad

I thoroughly enjoyed it on my LG CX 65" and 7.1 surround sound. I also enjoyed being able to piss whenever I wanted, not sitting anywhere near noisy assholes, not paying through the nose for overpriced snacks, and going off to bed straight afterwards.

I know I lose something by not going out to a cinema, but I gain a whole lot more...

Good movie. Best one I’ve seen in years. No nonsense politics, woke or dumbassery. They did do the whole “there’s a group of us so let’s split the gender and racial demographics equally” kind of the thing but it didn’t take over the movie.

Tom cruise and Jennifer Connelly look great in the movie. Both in their 50s.

Forgot to say this above, but I got to say the ending scene with Cruise, Connelly and Lady Gaga song might be the best closing scene I've seen in a movie. I can watch it over and over again on YT.

Some questions about the fight scenes.
Just curious for you military experts, for the parts in the movie at the end where they are avoiding SAMs by doing hard turns and dives, is that actually achievable in real life? They must had avoided 10 of them. 1/10 chance in real life? Zero chance to avoid even one?

Every movie has jet fighters blasting out flares as missile decoys. Do they really work in real life? These were supposed to be top notch SAM launchers.
