Reminder that this shit actually happened

It's so fucking bad, the floor actually bounces at the end.

What the fuck was that.

Switch Back 9

a lot of my threads involve me fucking up somehow. Perhaps I'm a moron?
Eww. Why.

I watched the first 3.something seasons and I don't think I've ever retroactively hated a TV series more upon reflection.

It's every episode going to become formulaic like sons did? Hey let's have a chase scene every episode that has a go pro camera attached to the side of a vehicle.

As i said in another thread
I'm not against a SoA spin-off, especially if Sutter is not a showrunner. But Mayans, really?
They should've done a 60s prequel series about young Clay, John Teller etc. as they wanted.
Seasons 6 and 7 of SoA were so bad, i'm questioning why i liked show in the beginning.

The Bastard Executioner will be bad, i can feel it.

I didn't like this show at all. The characters, story and macho bullshit. Surprised to see it was successful enough to get a spinoff.

SoA started strong but went downhill fast. Sutter fucking sucks. And the show is a single black character from being a white power fantasy. I finished the entire series because my wife is a big fan but even she "noped" at that ending.

I saw some friends on Facebook cheering this show on until the bitter end, so maybe there's demand for a spinoff. Not from me, though.

“The Mayan Project is very much in the infancy stages. I will be co-creating with another writer who will run the show if it moves forward,” Sutter wrote on Twitter. “Although the Mayan Project may intersect with SOA charters, it will be a very different show. Tone, pace, storytelling, will be unique. Mayan Project won’t take place in NoCal. That steps on SOA mythology. Although I’d love to find a way to use my brother, Emilio Rivera.”

I just finished the main series on Netflix. I suppose I feel the same as everyone else. I really liked the early seasons, then it took a dip but not sure when. One of my main gripes was with the shoot-outs. Apparently the Sons were all dead-eyes; everyone else were stormtroopers.

Like others said, I would rather them go prequel than Mayan but neither idea really interests me.

'Sons of Anarchy' 'Mayans' Spinoff Gets Pilot Order at FX

FX has officially ordered a pilot for the project, titled Mayans MC, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Sons of Anarchy co-creators Kurt Sutter and Elgin James co-wrote the pilot script. Sutter will exec produce and James will co-exec produce the drama from Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions. Sutter is also set to direct the pilot, which begins production in March.

Mayans MC is set in a post Jax Teller world, where EZ Reyes, a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the Cali/Mexi border, struggles with his desire for vengeance against the cartel, and his need for respect from the women he loves.
