Are people so blinded to not believe this is ingame, when the studio that's making it has consistently delivered on graphics and cinematic fidelity, let alone the engaging/emotional narrative design and lovable characters.

No kidding. Not to mention with all the downgrade talk lately like Watch_Dogs, you think ND is stupid enough to come flat out and lie to us when they know they'll be roasted over not living up to it? Not a chance.

Hey guys remember this

Goddam, even the title of the thread.

"Uncharted 4 Trailer in-engine, in-game, in realtime".

Read the OP. I highly doubt Naughty Dog would lie, simply due to the kickback if, and when it was found out that they weren't truthful.

No need to get fussy the 10 people before you pointed out it was confirmed by ND, I don't go on what random people say.

who the hell brought up Crysis 3? Its an incoherent mess of a game from an artistic standpoint and absolutely mediocre in the way it plays. Let it fade away into the obscurity it deserves.

That Crysis 3 char has dead eyes like no emotion, he doesnt look human.

The fact that the animation was almost completely done by 1 person. /mindblown

But you do post with certainty before reading the OP. That's cute.

I do hope you know how stupid this makes you look when you find out that that is from pre-rendered cutscene and not actual gameplay. The gameplay was never downgraded.

And there's the fact that the light source was changed, which altered the overall look.

There is a HUGE HUGE difference between controlling the game in "real time" with lots of stuff on the screen compared to a close up of one dude lying on the ground. We have seen heads and faces for how long? Who was that old man rendered during last year's e3? Relax the hype people, the whole game will not look like this. Will it look awesome and be awesome? YES! But will it look better than a $3000 nvidia card the whole time, NO!

Read the mother fucking OP.

It seems Naughty Dog will once again set new standards on the new consoles. Absolutely insane if this game ships looking like that.

I had completely forgotten Corrinne Yu joined Naughty Dog some months ago. She was supposedly the coding genius behind the Halo 4 engine, which was probably the best looking game on the 360. That can only mean good things for ND on PS4. :)

Yes, how stupid of me. 8 PS3's in parallel to pre-render a scene vs a single PS4. Guess they should have used more PS3's so it would look better. The gameplay of UC4 we have seen will probably look the same...

Just to be clear, it isn't pre-rendered? Not using different assets like the ND cutscenes on PS3? If that's the same model for Drake that will be in gameplay... fuck.

The end of the video looks like the camera is panning out and gameplay is about to start as he's walking into the forest

The very first source in the OP was from ND. I try not to get "fussy" - but when you have a multitude of people saying the exact same things that you were saying, despite it being confirmed otherwise, and even in a thread entirely dedicated to the point - it gets old fast. But, you know now, at least.

Oh please stop with your PC gaming talk. Have you even played a Naughty Dog to begin with?

I hope everyone here prepares their finest damage control for when the game ships and nothing outside of cut-scenes looks like this.

The Crysis 3 faces look really good, but the way in which Naughty Dog animates their faces makes them look better to me. Neither looks terrible by any stretch though, and the Crytek animations are still really good generally. Some of the Crysis models suffer from dead eye syndrome also.

That said, I cannot wait for Uncharted 4. I hope they keep the 60 FPS, because it looks wonderful!

I know the face is technically impressive but I honestly find it really... creepy. Something about it looks really off-putting.

There is a difference between rendered old man and a scene from the actual game man

these threads seem to bring out the worst in people. jesus.
anyway, I didnt doubt the forest was real, as it looked like the beginning of a playable level, but I had my doubts about the very beginning of the trailer. Glad to see ND is doing realtime cut scenes now, that should make for an absolutely seamless transition to gameplay.

Game will he pimp, but the game will look nothingreat close to that except for on pre scripted cinematic scenes and I have no problem with that. Ryse had some sweet scenes like this, but this looks way way way better. Can't wait to play it

Don't see much of a difference myself.

One uses swords and melee, the other uses guns and melee.

Both are third person action games that will push their hardware to the limits.

One has a 10 foot radius in battles and everything else is blurred out for performance and one if past nd is anything to go by involves set plays of environments like whole bridges , trains with many more particle effects to boot combined with the fact the game is ALREADY at 1080p and targeting not 30 fps but 60 fps.
