I got this gift box full of snacks from Japan. Like 50 different snacks. Most of them are weird and I don't know what they are but it's been fun trying them.

I got some legos.

Still can’t get HeisenbergFX4 HeisenbergFX4 to gift me a signed ball and card though.
You have my word if I ever disable my account here I will send you a signed ball used in the 1990 World Series as I stole A LOT of game used balls (if you consider even warm up between innings as game used)

The few I have from one of the actual games are priceless to me though back then there is no way to ever get them verified officially

I got a T-shirt and a book that made the cry

I read a book called crying in h Mart from the lead singer of Japanese breakfast. Like her mom, mines died of cancer. The relation to how our mom's raised us and wasn't the leave it to Beaver style of sympathetic mom but more of a real world, grounded and tough parenting style but still was sweet and nice when the situation really needed it. Reconnecting to our culture through food we grew up eating even after we moved across the country to make our careers happen where they weren't happening otherwise down to feeling envious of people who still have their parents. I've read books on violent wars that seemed easier to read than this book. Anywho, I told my boyfriend even though I read it on my Kindle I wanted to actually own it physically one day because of how it affected me and guess what I opened and became overwhelmed with enough emotions that I lost it?

Your word would be enough.

My XMAS mas pretty light in the presents but I treated myself to early XMAS in November: PS5 Pro, Dual Sense Edge, Sony 65" A95L and a Bravia 9 soundbar.

My wife spoiled me with a Sonos Arc Soundbar and Sub 4. Originally I thought the sub wasn't required and she was just upsold but I'm so glad she got it. The sound is amazing.

While I got it a little early, I got a 65 inch LG G4 OLED and it is just 🤌🤌. At Christmas I got more gamepass, more PlayStation plus, and Black Myth: Wukong. This plus my current backlog will last me quite some time and now on my new TV... Gonna be so nice!

£30 Amazon voucher
£50 John Lewis voucher
Couple of LPs
Couple of books
Chocolates
Socks/T shirts
aftershave, moisturiser etc
Electric screwdriver

That’s about it I think

Gaming wise I got Fantasian Neo Dimension on Switch and $50 Steam credit I haven't used yet (will probably save for Trails through Daybreak II). Then for Boxing Day I ordered myself Farmagia on Switch.

I'm 50 with no kids so the wife and I pretty much have all we want/need. We still buy gifts for each other, just a few, each year. This year I got:

Black Myth: Wukong (PS5) - Had already beaten this on PC when it first released, but told her I'd like physical copy some day so she bought it for me, yay! Looks good on the Pro!

Box Two - The second in a puzzle box series created by Neil Patrick Harris and put together by a puzzle company. She got me Box One a Xmas or two ago so naturally I get to take a crack at Box Two.

$75 gift card to a very nice spa place for a massage. The wife knows me well!

History of Video Game Controllers - this is a framed print that my sister got me, very cool. Traces from Atari's PONG all the way to the PS5 DualSense.

That's pretty much it. Oh, and the mother in law gave me a $50 bill.

No presents, but I'm perfectly happy with the family and everyone is fine.

I gave out quite a few small gifts to my family and employees this year ... including V-Bucks for my kids 😅.

Santa brought to me in the mail my $250 debit card that was from a rebate for my new daily disposable contact lenses. (Dailies are expensive so I will take any type of help)

Used that to buy some Steam games and also bought the Indiana Jones game on my XSX.

I was going to get the ps5 pro but after the first waive of third party games I gave up... so nothing "gamer" for me... I got myself a new LV wallet and a new eletronic Piano for my new discovered passion.

Nothing, my wife and I spent alot on our new house renovations so that was our gift to ourselves. Generally I wouldn't have wanted much anyway as I've been trying to cut down lately.

Stellar Blade for my Pro, Anti-Venom Spiderman funko pop guy, socks, boxers, money, $160 coffee gift card.

Good haul but no where near what my kids got for obvious reasons and which I am more than fine with. I’m at the point now where Christmas is starting to lose people every year, so just seeing family is good enough for me.

PS5 disc drive add on (finally)
FF16 physical
Persona 5 Royal physical
Silent hill 2 remake physical
Lords of the fallen digital
DMC5 special edition digital
Secret lab Titan Evo 2022
Noblechairs footrest V2
Galaxy watch Ultra
Rayban meta wayfarer

hyper consumerism is real I suppose

Secretlab Titan Evo chair.
Very happy with it.

I'm pretty happy with it too man but...it's definitely over hyped and over marketed since it's got way too many quirks for a 500+ Eurodollars chair.
- wobbly armrests
- tilt mechanism which is fiddly/doesn't lock properly some times
- minor back and forth movement even with the tilt mechanism locked
- Abrupt/non progressive height adjustment : when you have the chair at its highest position and pull on the height adjustment lever, the seat lowers way too fast and hits the bottom producing a "thump/bump" sound - even my 70$ IKEA office chair doesn't do that.

Customer support has been good for me so far thank God but I've been reading horror stories.

Other than that...it's very relaxing and comfy even though the cushioning is very firm (always preferred firmer mattresses/chairs/armchairs though), just hope it has a good longevity.

My wife and I exchanged new winter coats. My sons asked for nothing game related this year which was a bit of surprise.
