Yeah, the wobbly armrests seems to be a thing with most of these 4d-armrests chairs. Probably because all the possible movements. I love that they're magnetic though! Great to be able to replace them if they're getting worn out.I'm pretty happy with it too man but...it's definitely over hyped and over marketed since it's got way too many quirks for a 500+ Eurodollars chair.
- wobbly armrests
- tilt mechanism which is fiddly/doesn't lock properly some times
- minor back and forth movement even with the tilt mechanism locked
- Abrupt/non progressive height adjustment : when you have the chair at its highest position and pull on the height adjustment lever, the seat lowers way too fast and hits the bottom producing a "thump/bump" sound - even my 70$ IKEA office chair doesn't do that.
Customer support has been good for me so far thank God but I've been reading horror stories.
Other than that...it's very relaxing and comfy even though the cushioning is very firm (always preferred firmer mattresses/chairs/armchairs though), just hope it has a good longevity.
Nice, which one ?Some gift cards which I then used to buy myself a new dolby atmos soundbar.
Wait your wife got you a jetski and you aren't going to use it? those are like $9k - 20k new ... Your wife must be rich and really loves you. I would use the jetski, make her happy. If you don't , sell it to me for cheap of course... (unless I am confused from your post).Santa brought me two sons that are married that I still believe are hell of gay. I make them walk under the gaydar every time they enter the house ( it’s a piece of paper with gaydar written on it and I sound my phone alarm when they come through).
A wife that nags me when I’m in the middle
Of a hike a 0530 to remind me to be there for Christmas morning with the grandkids.
All in all it turned out good, Santa and my wife got me some dumbass Jetski seadoo thingy you can fish from or something. She doesn’t know this, I’ll never use it. Jokes on her.
Merry Christmas, ladies and gents.
I picked this budget Samsung HW-Q600C soundbar and hooked it up to my Samsung S95B OLED TV that I got last year. It's good enough for my needs, which is mostly console gaming, along with some movie and anime watching.Nice, which one ?
Yeah, it is a new jetski with fishing equipment attached. A fish finder, live well, etc. We are both fortunate to make it to the top of our professions. I retired from the Marine Corps that still do contracting with the Marines Corps for MCMAP (hand to hand combat) on Parris Island as I retired here in Beaufort and my wife is a District Manager for the USPS that looks over North and South Carolina. I also got lucky on a ton of investments throughout my time in the Corps.Wait your wife got you a jetski and you aren't going to use it? those are like $9k - 20k new ... Getting old, especially if you're at least moderately successful, makes Christmas increasingly difficult (particularly now so many things are just digital subscriptions), you tend to just buy whatever you want whenever you want it throughout the yearI am 57 years old and my wife never lets us go a Christmas without giving each other something and its usually the only person that does get me anything per my request
It is just a "just get whatever you want babe" type of thing because you are spot on if either of us want something we just end up getting itGetting old, especially if you're at least moderately successful, makes Christmas increasingly difficult (particularly now so many things are just digital subscriptions), you tend to just buy whatever you want whenever you want it throughout the year
This year, my wife said what she wanted, and bought it on my card. (The Lego loop rollercoaster). I wrapped it thoIt is just a "just get whatever you want babe" type of thing because you are spot on if either of us want something we just end up getting it
Those were probably pretty pricey unless you got a good retro store.A bit late...

“Moderately successful” changes with a couple of kids at home. That's where the money goes . At some point, however, it becomes difficult to surprise each other with “gifts”. At that point, especially when you're successful and putting in a lot of time at work, spending time together and having some quiet time is gift enough. I'm honestly glad that I can spend some quality time with my family and enjoy some quiet time with my wife.Getting old, especially if you're at least moderately successful, makes Christmas increasingly difficult (particularly now so many things are just digital subscriptions), you tend to just buy whatever you want whenever you want it throughout the year
Yeah I do have a lot of friends with kids, they are a massive financial drain. Even friends who are programmers at Spotify are relatively constrained with disposable income. Schools cost a bloody fortune.“Moderately successful” changes with a couple of kids at home. That's where the money goes . But even if you're not “successful”, I think it's satisfying when you get some rest in your daily routine. There are enough jobs that don't pay well and require a lot of sacrifice. If you are “successful and well paid”, you belong to a privileged part of socierty.
There is a whole Family Guy episode like this, lolI don't get much for Christmas, but the kids had a good haul. The highlight apparently being the 10 year old's mini fridge for her room.
I've asked a few times why? I don't understand. Just glad she's happy with it hah
This is not a Harry potter.
