Who's cancelling their 3DS preorder and joining the winning team?

Right now its 3DS Day 1 for me and PSP2 ... maybe year 3-4? Thing is impressive but it looks fucking expensive and I never felt the need to get a PSP to begin with so IDK how this will turn out.

I was going to get a 3DS on launch but change my mind now. I can't imagine watching anime/tv on that gorgeous screen
 
Was never going to get a 3DS and this looks like it blows it out of the water. It will also probably have games I'll be interested in. Price may hold me back a bit.
 
The NGP looks amazing, and I would probally be willing to pay more than what i want for it. But the most importent thing in a handheld device is battery life. If this thing needs to be baby set because it cant handle being away from a power outlet then I might as well be playing a ps3.

I'll probably keep my 3DS pre-order. It's got Paper Mario, a new Resident Evil, etc. So it's already got stuff I want to buy.

The PSP2 on the other hand... Well, it all looks great, but me buying it will depend on the price of the system, and the price of the games.
 
Why would i ? Im buying the 3DS because of its games, the NGP havin superior hardware doesnt change the fact. Ill gett a NGP too, but probably not at launch because of the price.
 
PSP2 look like it's shaping up to be more expensive than the 3DS, so I won't be buying either until there is some kind of substantial price drop. Or come into a lot of money. One or the other. I'll probably be waiting for a while. :(


Shit, I only got my DS Lite after the XL was announced. Stuck with my Day 1 clamshell for all that time. And it was only because my friend sold it to me for $40.
 
I'll be getting both when I see some appealing software for both(kinda want the 3DS just for Pilotwings, but I'll wait until after E3) I guess E3 will be the place for some original software both consoles(I hope)

Despite the impressiveness of the visuals, am I the only person who doesn't get too excited at the prospect of playing some thing I've already played in another way?

Wouldn't it be a new idea if Nintendo or Sony introduced their handheld, and the first thing they ever showed for it was a new IP?

Seriously, though, this thing is a right nice piece of tech.

Sony has to be a bit worried that by the time it launches the 3DS will have sold millions of units, though. But with the high price it's bound to have they'll probably use the "not in the same market" card :)
 
It really remains to be seen how much unique content this thing is going to be able to get, PS3 level graphics are nice but that means PS3 level budgets too.

I see the 3DS getting way more support because of that fact, atleast from Japanese developers...

That screen is undeniably amazing looking but so was the PSP's at the time, probably going to end up buying both systems anyways!
