It looks like it's a twitter account dedicated to shitting on Nintendo fans. At least recently.

Its because of the WiiU launch. Once Sony and Microsoft announce their consoles we will be seing more crazy Sony and Microsoft fanboys. Though there have been a posts from them in reaction to the WiiU launch.

Oh wow, the Wii U version of BO2 is getting a lot of love from the reviewers. Where are the ones who claimed the single player had major issues? lol "smirk"

Yeah... not sure if TRU were always so shitty and I just never noticed as a kid or what... but I've certainly yet to see a clean one as an adult. Having a 2 (nearly 3) year old means we semi-regularly head that way... beats walmart at least.

My local TRU is awful now, but back in the day it was real clean. Like when they use to have all the video games in the a storage and you had to take the tickets. Those were the days. It really went down hill after the Pokemon TGC league went down at my local store. Use to get a ton of people for it.

Sorry if someone already provided any info on this, but, any tips on GamePad range increase? I can go like 10 feet only through a wall. My house though is made of bricks.

I detected sarcasm from your post as well but correct me if I'm wrong.
That's one of my posts that has more than one layer of meaning, depending on who's reading it. I call it sincerecasm.

Walked into best buy tonight- plenty of Wii Us - walked out with a digital "deluxe" and NSMBU and halo 4.

Also - there were people camping for black Friday...there is nothing at best buy worth nearly 2 days of camping and missing thanksgiving

Yeah, as a kid I saw TRU as a beacon of joy. I'd go to check out the games with my parents (and yes, I do blame them for my video game addition:) I also have fond memories of taking the slip to that man in the storage area full of wonderful games... And while I know this TRU wasn't in the rich part of town or anything, it was kind of depressing:( Oh well. Got want I needed, and more.

Ok just received my Wii U, can I connect it online and go buy Chrono Trigger from SNES? Or that will be added to the Wii U store at a later date?

Virtual Console is there, but it's in the "Wii Menu" (aka re-boot the Wii-U in "Wii Mode.") I don't know about Chrono Trigger, but if it's in the Wii's SNES VC section it'll be on Wii-U.

As far as I can tell it has the Wii hardware built in.

And good lord the menus are slow on the Wii-U.. everything is just dog slow.

And the overscan is TERRIBLE.. I found it quite telling that Scribllenauts Unlimited has a feature where you can change the "scaling" of the game.. why is this not built into the system again?

Stupid question time. How do I play a game on just the controller? I know not all games do this but for those that do how do it? Is there a button I'm missing, do I simply cut the TV off, or should there be an option somewhere in the Home menu area?

I noticed within Scribblenauts Unlimited it was in the settings menu.. under "Graphics".. had a "Turn TV Off" option.

Will I rage playing the new Mario on the Gamepad? Should I buy a Pro controller? Or it would be only to get the old Mario feeling?

I am a bit confused... I wish there was a Pro controller in the Deluxe package! haha

I'm cleaning up Nintendoland Plaza tonight. Reported someone who apparently wants to "put my fucking dick in a squid" and someone else that likes the word pussy a real lot.

Mario is great on the pad screen, but it does not support the Pro. Why? Who knows.

To those having trouble finding a wiiu: don't give up.

I walked into a bestbuy tonight and it was pretty busy with pre-black Friday shoppers. I picked up the last deluxe wii u. It sat on the shelf for 5 minutes.

Does voice chat only work if you have a headset (Black Ops 2)? I thought it would work even with just ordinary headphones, but that doesn't seem to be the case from what I tried.

Would like to confirm two things.

1. Does the original Wii component cables work with the Wii U?

2. You can NOT use both Component and HDMI at the same time on the Wii U, correct? For example: On my PS3, I use HDMI for video, but route the sound through Component so they work with my cheap-ass 2.1 speaker setup.

Thanks :)

This overscan issue has me worried enough to consider cancelling my Australian pre-order.

I've got an older Bravia 40" TV with a native 1366x768 screen res and it sounds like I will most likely have the overscan issue. (none of the other myriad devices that I've had connected to this TV have exhibited overscan issues)

Additionally, I'll be forced to use component video because my AV receiver doesn't support sound over HDMI and be limited to stereo sound.

Along with all the other widespread reported issues all my hype and enthusiasm for the system has evaporated.

You can adjust the screen size in a Miiverse setting.

some of the love that the Wii U version is getting;

Review:

Black Ops II adds few Wii U specific controls and options that make use of the GamePad controller (with the exception to the split-screen co-op feature), leaving behind unnecessary motion gestures and gimmicks. It might have been useful to implement some touch-screen functionality to further streamline some menus and the custom class screens, but unfortunately, those features weren't included. As a full package, Call of Duty: Black Ops II’s superb offering of a balanced multiplayer, challenging Zombies modes, and entertaining single player campaign make it an excellent title to pick up on the Wii U.

YOU'LL LOVE
The branching story campaign
Addictive multiplayer and Zombies modes
Playing split-screen co-op with the GamePad

YOU'LL HATE
Not being able to access the Home screen from any menu
Touch controls to streamline menus and class customization are absent
Not having a Wii U Pro Controller for split-screen co-op

1 is definitely a yes, I've done it. Don't know anything about 2 though.

(1) Yes

(2) Correct, you cant use both at the same time.

My internet is AWFUL. It's taking SO long to download the Nintendo Land update, hahaha.

But I really, REALLY like the console so far. The console itself is so much sturdier than the PS3 and 360 and doesn't feel like it's snap in half if I drop it. Gamepad is also sturdy feeling, even though it feels a bit too light.

Can't wait to try out Nintendo Land in 25 days once my update finishes downloading!
