If you kill the phone UI in OS 7 or 8, you can see the explorer too. Maybe even a start button!
WP9 will have a start button just to maximize the potential for pissing people off

Well its not like they expect it to do that. Hell, it shouldnt even get that far unless you were purposely messing around in the OS on a code-level, in which case you get to have a laugh.

Since my Lumia 610 died I'm stuck using a dumb phone again. I tried to get another 610 but my carrier stopped carrying them. I then tried to get the Nexus 4 but well, we all know how this ends. I'm literally going to kill someone if I have to deal with this slow dumb phone another week. I'm thinking about purchasing a BB10 device on launch (I have been a BB fan since as long as I can remember but they've been sucking lately) or getting the Lumia 620.
Are there any good (affordable) WP8 devices available now? They sell the HTC 8S on Virgin Mobile Canada but I'm not sure how to unlock it.

Koodo at the moment. I'm trying to avoid contracts, so I'm buying my phones off contract.
I see the 610 pay as you go with Telus for something around $150 at Superstore.

Hmm...
I suppose I'll disable push email and make IMAP email to sync every two hours, and Outlook.com and Gmail to sync every 30 minutes, and disable advanced Find My Phone functions. I think it'll help a lot, no?

Google has to be trolling at this point.
Google does A/B rollouts, so that's probably why it still works.
I believe they are implementing a new api for apps/sites/etc to view apps without needing to launch the youtube app, so this might have something to do with it. Old youtube links will be broken even on embedded videos on websites soon.
Only when group messaging is involved.
