Looking the forward to playing more tomorrow.

Trying to prism Shiva and Ifrit in the coliseum as lv10 is hard work lol
I can get about 2-3 chances to prism before I'm dead, then I'm kicked out of coliseum
Do I only need to prism 1 at a time, or I lose it if I fail battle in coliseum?
Level 10 is a bit early. Level 15 will give you a lot more durability.
Use the elemental items to kill one of them immediately, you only need two for lethal, so you should be able to take them one out before they can even hit you and then imprism the other. It might take a few tries.
Welp, I just prism'd both on first try after post lawl, lv10 is fine
My strategy is both Lann and Reynn M sized, riding on Mythil Golem and Magitek Armor
First turn = unstack both
Shiva/Ifrit seem to always kill the L size first, use black nakk or tama to fire magic on ifrit and bablizz from shiva fight reward on Shiva
2nd turn = try to imprism Shiva or Ifrit, if Lann/Reynn fails, wipe it
3rd turn = you should have at least 1 more prism attempt, try to prism the 2nd
4th turn = if prisming on 2nd failed, use phoenix down and make prism effect stronger by using fire/ice spells again for higher prism chance
This should get both prism in 1 go, just takes lucky rng. I tried about 10 times before this strategy worked
Stat buffs are shared. I think Battle skills are too. Field skills aren't.
The way I understand it is everything is shared except for the skills that have green text when you press triangle on their mirage board. I haven't transfigured any yet to actually see though.
I bought the EU version early, just arrived. It's a regular edition, not a day one edition. Does this mean I can't get the Japanese voices? I can toggle the setting, but 'voiced dialog' defaults to off and I can't turn it on. Can't find anything on the PS Store yet either.
I'm in chapter 8 or so, I went back to the cave dungeon at the beginning of the game with the evolution of the mini-golem that can learn smash so you can break that boulder and in the next area I gained so many levels lol. I don't think the game quiiiiiite expects you to do it at that point, I was level 15 and over the course of exploring that area as well as capturing the two missing mirages there I was level 25 and had increased my gil by like 4 times my starting amount. Good stuff.
Same here. I kept screwing up at imprisming Zapt so I was there longer than I should have been. When I was finally done I was like level 30 already lolExactly what I did. Hung around there for a little too long and it made the following chapters waaaay too easy, though.
Japanese VO is part of the day 1 edition DLC. Some stores got the regular, instead of the day 1 edition :/.
Hahaha there's a quest in the game called "I Hate Lightning!"
That's uh, kinda dumb. Guess I'll just try to warm up to the english voices, cutscenes without voices is kinda weird otherwise.
My desire to explore as much as possible the first time I encounter new areas has dimished entirely. Went down the secret area in Pyrewood Forest and encountered thebefore I had the item needed to capture it so now I guess I just don't get that this playthrough.Magic Jar

Is there anything I can capture nearby or before that can prevent that?
Can you attempt to Imprism (or whatever the word is) as many times as you can while the monsters are in their catchable state? It failed for me once and I was able to attempt again but I was under the impression that I was only able to attempt once and subsequent attempts would require me to buy pokeballs? Unless that tutorial message meant I can only have one of each monster?

Magitek Armor P (Demo Bonus Mirage) has No Escape on his Mirage Board. Cactrot also has extremely low health so unstack and hit him with your weakest character do get the prismtunity.
Or you could just go back when you get one of those items like an hour or two later?
Easier way is to use a mirage that has the subdue skill, it's the same as false swipe from pokemon, It has an effect that leaves enemies at 1 HP, and if you use it again while 1 HP left, it does 0 damage
Slyph, one of the first mirages you get in the game has that
I assumed that it was a one time encounter and it won't respawn. If it does that would be great.
Still no update from sony about the vita version in the ps store with the bugged rating.
Credited 40$ on my wallet and can't buy the freaking game. So frustrating holy shit.
I ran into that encounter, saw I didn't have the item and just ran. It was still there after and I can go back any time to grab it.
I wanted this game so bad, my hype for it was bigger than FFXV. But with these problem with the Vita version, I lost interest. The 40$ that I credited on my wallet I already spent on other game.
Its sad, but they did not give a fuck for Vita version.
Yeah I stuck around and defeated it. I got wrapped up in the new battle music and didn't stop to think it could be the only one in the game since it was accessible so early.
Question for anyone past the forest in the beginning.
How do I transfigure my Cockatrice into a Valefor? Also, is it permanent? I have the Valefor memento, but the Prism Case shows nothing on Cockatrice.

You can attempt multiple times with the same pokeball. You'd just need a new pokeball if you wanted to catch a 2nd one at a later time
You choose what form you want to transfigure into, it's not permanent.
I have it in my stack currently. You have to purchase it on the Mirage Board and then Seraphie will allow you to transfig in the Prism Case.
Arma Gems are used to initiate Intervention quests and buy champion medals. They are earned strictly through boss fights throughout story (also very low chance of earning them in online coliseum battles). Then enemies drop them in certain dungeons post-game.Uh so just unlocked the intervention quests. What are the icons next to the quests listed about? Are they some sort of currency or something?
