Holy crap... all this talk of MS buying Sega. I wonder if it's more a collaboration of a Japanese focused Xbox in partnership with Sega as some have suggested? There is still that mysterious hardware code named Edinburgh people don't know for sure what it is yet...

Nah, that X style pose is more like a "no" or "cancel" or "stop" pose. There are images of a similar woman doing a similar pose over an iPhone, indicating like "No Apple" and it was shared by Samsung blogs.

Well after all my complaining and disappointment about Xbox in the last few years , the family got me a series X and a couple of games to go with it.
I can’t go near it till “Santa has been” apparently ha ha ha. I’ll get the PS5 late next year when God of War is out.

When do we expect to start seeing Bethesda back catalogue making it's way to GamePass? I'm guessing they will spread them out a bit rather than just do a massive dump of titles? Do we have to wait for the deal to fully complete next year or can they start adding them soon?
I know a couple are already there- or have been previously, would love to see Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout GoTY Edition land pretty quickly, along with the first Dishonored.

Asobo's "A Plague Tale: Innocence" was fantastic - hopefully they don't get stuck with just Flight Sim and are allowed to do other games. (not that FS isn't great too!)

They should of acquired BioWare before EA did imo. I know that’s not possible now but to me it was a real missed opportunity at the time.

There is a difference between acknowledging and it being MS's own marketing though isn't it? MS's own marketing isn't XBox being the Avengers and PS5 one of the big baddies now because Aaron Greenburg retweeted that meme.
Sure, but I didn't see how that quote makes MS's message clear? I think it's likely they will keep the titles exclusive once the deals in place have been honoured. I wouldn't be surprised if they left some options open though. Selected titles going to PS? Or even most big ones. Them all being day of release on GP may be considered enough and if PS5 has been successful then they may consider the option too big to ignore.

If MS really does acquire Sega, I’d love a next gen exclusive Virtua Fighter, a reimagined version of the Sega Master System’ s ZILLION (loved that game), and last but not least, a full fledged next gen open world Phantasy Star! (The original on SMS was my favorite ROG of all time).

All of them. It’s suppose to default to the settings you set whenever HDR is turned on. Just leave all the games to their in game default settings.

As someone who hasn’t been in the Xbox ecosystem since the OG Xbox, does it make any sense to buy a Series X just for Game Pass and to play my UHD discs? I’m a physical collector, but I could rely on GP until more next gen games worth purchasing come out.
I managed preorders for both next gen consoles, but I’m trying to consider which one to keep. The only drawbacks of no PS5 for me at launch are no Demon’s Souls and no optimization of PS4 games I have been waiting to play since I don’t have the pro model.

I think D dark10x is more referring to auto HDR or something we don’t know about yet with BC games, just due to how the guy he was replying to says “improve all their games out of the box.”
Im not sure if that external SSD has stuff preinstalled on it or if they are allowed to access all their account on that test box.

Good catch! I suck at figuring those things out. I stand corrected, Doom Eternal is obviously an amazing game to add to Game Pass, it came out a few months ago too. I can't wait to see what ID Software does now with that MS money.

Is the series X going to be a different set of home consoles? I gameshare with my gf and so the XB1X in the bedroom is my home console and the one in my game room I need to be online.
When I do this with my Series X is it going to take home off my 1X or am I going to be able to put that in the living room so the kids have access to all those games?
I only thought of this because they said the dash is going to be the same and I don’t know how they are going to split my home Xbox between the 1 and the Series.
