Next-gen consoles, Ladies and Gents...
And people actually think the PS4 can run this at 1080p 60fps

Like i said before, its one thing to shoehorn a ps3 code to run on ps4 and another to make something for ps4 from scratch.

This is video it's a fake however. There is the select button in the screen when Joel find some object.
OH NO YOU DIDN'TPC will still "hold back PC" if they want their games to sell.
If you thought it couldn't get worse, then you haven't realized that Salex just invoked the apocalypse.Gotta say, this is one of the more depressing threads in recent memory. Smh.
Exactly. So why can't it have shadow resolutions higher than 1024...
I do, yes. They will hold back technical innovation in games for years, just like the PS3 and 360 did.
Some people are probably still salty over early PS3 smoke and mirrors.I still don't really understand the skepticism around the Uncharted demo. What does ND have to say to get you to believe? They have said like three times they're not lying.
I think if they had some show able gameplay they would have put a tiny bit of that in like they did with the uc3 trailer. But it's not a tech demo, UC4's been in development for nearly three years. It's obviously playable.
Not that familiar with the ps2 launch window games, but yeah, fair enough. What was the best looking launch year PS2 game? Because MGS2 completely outclassed everything else, and ran at 60.

Halo 3 was in development for about 2 years when they revealed it and released a year after that, and still that the teaser just ended up being a tech demo. Again, not saying just because bungie did it ND will too, I just think it's a possibility

Some of them either run at 60fps with some dips or at least can hit 60fps at times. And with time, devs would quite likely be able to develop games of similar or even bettere visual fidelity @ 60fps, if they so decide and don't go for 30fps with even more treat for the eyes.None of those run at 60 fps though. That's still the most doubtful part about the uc4 demo to me.
That's not how marketing works.I think if they had some show able gameplay they would have put a tiny bit of that in like they did with the uc3 trailer.

You won't see UC4 gameplay till next June.

I wonder if we will see this gen giving us more options similar to setting up a PC game.
I don't understand reactions of some people here. 30 fps will always use less resources, thus having the option of increasing graphic fidelity (if the developer wishes so). It has nothign to do with limited hardware. Even if the hardware was ten times stronger, 30fps version would still have that bit more space for graphical improvements.
Was only a matter of time before Uncharted popped up again.
Also for a 30 vs 60 vs 120 fps comparison I found this site which is awesome

Uh oh, ammunition for the 30 FPS crowd
Show us the receipts
Damn, TLOU at 60fps looks sooo goood.
Have seen anything about shadows at 30fps compared to shadows at 60fps?
Probably still gonna go with 60fps, but still curious how much better.

Well, I'm not going to buy a PS4 anymore.
And we still have 50 more pages to go...Jeez everyone is this thread is going insane.
It would be unacceptable to offer the 30 fps option without giving something extra.
plus I bet it's not just shadows

That's a terrible example, but it's terrible because the GTO looks classier than the Ferrari.i guess the car restoration failed because it doesn't look like the Ferrari? jezz....
It's hardly just assets. Actually, the higher-fidelity asset versions probably work out better than a lot of other things about the game. There are tremendous differences in shading paradigms and such that aren't necessarily going to slide smoothly into a ported last-gen game. As a fresh start with a much larger development effort behind it, it would not be surprising if U4 is taking vastly superior advantage of the PS4's architecture.cant turn ps3 assets on to ps4 assets, that why the games look so different
