Mario Maker question: Do we know if level sharing will be worldwide, or just within regions? Hope it's worldwide, to help keep activity up.

It does appear to be worldwide. There are flags next to the Miis when showing creators.
Another reason why GamePad has to be an option for NX. Is there a better controller (not M+KB) for a game like this?

In one of the Treehouse segments yesterday, they mentioned that some of the levels that were uploaded came from the Mario designers in Kyoto. So, I'd imagine that it's worldwide.

It's a bit of a bummer, but I suspect it might have to with how they programmed the AI for the dolls.
Sorry, I was speaking for myself mostly since I missed the first demo.

Sam is basically a main host this year, she knows how to talk very well.
I have to thank Ed for Fantasy Life though.
Top down Zelda Maker could work really well, as could a 2D Metroid Maker.
It'll need the gamepad if it's going to be backwards compatible with Wii U too

I would personally love to see a Kirby Maker. There are plenty of different 2D Kirby styles and it just seems like could work out well.
I hope it is, too. However, it will be optional and just auto Off-TV Play if a developer doesn't want to use it.

The quality of games is fantastic, but that really is nothing new with a Nintendo-console. Its the quantity that is the big problem, as usual.
They have to have a gamepad option for NX and any other console. Otherwise, they couldn't make sequels to Splatoon and Mario Maker. And no, Splatoon can't word with traditional controls unless they were really gimp.

I don't think Reggie coming up and saying that they see fans are really angry/upset at the games we've been demoing is appropriate for the treehouse.
They did, hence Reggie saying that the response was strong, not overwhelmingly positive
Or they could be aware that vocal fans on the internet does not equal the majority. Especially Metroid fans which are loud, but not many.

It would give them a lot of positive feedback if they just would admit their mistakes though. That would be much better than the regular PR speech from Reggie, I believe it makes fans just more angry.

Just take a look at last year E3, it was awesome but it didn't stoped detractors to continue shit on Nintendo in every chance they had.

I agree with you in that discussing the faults of their presentation is something that should be done, but I don't think Treehouse is the place to do that.
That's nonsense. I don't use the gyro, so I could use the Pro controller fine, the map select could be easily done with the select button. It's fine to have a preference, but don't shit on others.
