What are the chances that the US government hit Assange and Wikileaks connections as part of our retaliation to Russia? That would be baller as fuck.

That's not what I read on those "Trump internals". They said that Clinton's rise came to early and that the way the numbers are heading, Trump will finish this ahead of Hillary! Why did I watch that video? Ugh.

Seriously though, they will because as it gets closer things are going to look more and more grim so he will be more and more unhinged especially if the people close to him are lying about how things really are. That doesn't even consider any other oppos and there is apparently at least one more dropping.
 
Just saw the news about the RT accounts being frozen. I don't know if it was part of the US response, but it's some good shit. Fuck Assange, fuck RT, and fuck Russia for trying to meddle in our election.

Yougov is an OK pollster (B from Punished Nate), they conduct most of their polls electronically though (no phonecalls)

And just like with his casinos, Trump will end up fracturing the batshit GOP base between Fox and his shitty network, thereby preventing them from properly organizing, ensuring that the alt right never actually gets enough traction to be a proper movement like the Tea party was.

He's giving Alex Jones lips service and pushing his conspiracies. Steve Bannon is head of his campaign. He's in love with Hannity.

I think you can possibly expect these people to have some say in the formation of the Network if it becomes a thing. It'll essentially just be a place that pushes alt right thinking and conspiracies. Just given a bigger platform.

The new Rasmussen Reports daily telephone and online survey shows Clinton leading Donald Trump 43% to 41% among Likely U.S. Voters. Five percent (5%) favor Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, his poorest showing to date, while Green Party candidate Jill Stein holds steady at two percent (2%). Three percent (3%) like some other candidate in the race, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

Clinton was ahead by seven points a week ago – 45% to 38% - following the airing of a video showing Trump making graphic sexual remarks, but she lost ground during the week as voters responded to the candidates’ Sunday night debate. On Thursday and Friday, Trump held a slight 43% to 41% lead.

most of these odds aren't putting the standard deviations up for some reason considering they all claim to be ace statisticians

I don't follow the betting market, but probably a spreadsheet scenario based on how low he is compared to time remaining in the election. Pump & Dump, basically

Depends on which betting market site you're looking at. Betfair, electionbettingodds and Predictwise all have had Trump's numbers in the gutter since the debate.

Also don't put too much stock into betting markets. Their pools are pretty small so even just a couple of people moving their money creates significant shifts in the numbers. I've always felt that it's better to take a look at who they have winning rather than percentages.

Also the people slapping down and throwing money around in the betting markets are basically the now-cast, ie: overreact to everything. And they've more than shown in the past that they aren't as smart as they think they are.

We need to do some hard retaliation after the election. Maybe help Ukraine retake Crimea.
 
Got a call from a Clinton campaign rep asking me to go out and vote early "because it really helps the campaign".

I can go vote early, but I was planning on voting on actual election day because I prefer to do it that way and I feel like an active citizen and stuff.

But I was curious...why does it "help the campaign?" Ohio here. Just wondering.

Because they've already got a vote banked and it's one less thing to worry about on Election Day.

Also if there are any problems (voter ID or whatever) you could hopefully get that sorted out by then.

Locked in votes are votes you don't need to worry about later.
