Xbox is just too dead, it is even difficult to find physical games as most stores have 2-10 different xbone games here and tens/hundred+ ps4 games.
Then I have nes,snes,cube,wii,wiiu,ps1,2,3,psp,vita,segas, jaguar, xbox og+360 too many to list.
But time is limited so most people I know have always Playstation as only current gen system and then have some retro systems collecting dust and waiting to be used rarely
It would be cool to have 80's back when every friend had different system and it were epic to see weird machines for the first time
But Playstation is = gaming these parts of the World

I'm considering it, but I've never been "loyal" to a console manufacturer, and I usually end up picking them all up eventually. At this point though, neither company has impressed at launch, so I'm content to sit back and see which can build up a critical mass of must-play (for me) games first. Or I may just build a PC since most exclusives seem to be headed that way eventually anyway.
As someone who is more interested in third party/multiplayer offerings, XSX does seem to be a logical choice for your main console, but that shouldn't preclude you from considering a PS5 too. I get your stand on only paying one sub, but you could always pick up a PS5 too for the single player exclusives that you are interested in, seems like the best of both worlds.
Bummer about all the folks scoffing over what is (in light of all the "gotcha" and disingenuous threads that have popped up and been locked over the last few days) a legitimate topic worth discussing, at least among the few who would answer "yes" to your title. I guess them's the breaks in launch years.

No i just cant stand Xbox. Dont know why. I hate digitally, i hate people who download like 500 games on their harddrive and external SSDs lol i havenormally like 2-3 games on my console installed, i delete everything else after i finished a game or dont want to play it anymore. Cant stand all those useless games installed on my console.
Its like real life... i hate all the shit lying around you dont need or people who gather all the trash and cant throw stuff away.
my old coworker loved it too because he was always broke and then i realized that Game Pass is a nice thing for kids and people who never have money to buy videogames. he was an idiot too. Always talking about how pro consumer the xbox is... jeah but just say that you need gamepass because your broke ass needs those free games.

Don’t really need it since I have a nice PC, wanted something compact for gamepass , play old xbox games with BC and watching BlueRays .
I was thinking about it but it just doesn’t make much sense since all XsX games will be on PC.
Thats the dilemma MS put itself in, do you really need a new XsX when your PC hardware is capable of doing the exact same thing.

No. There are many people whose biggest selling point is power and the ability to perform best in third party multiplats.
However, I would advise you to read reviews and comparisons between the first 5-10 multiplat games in order to be certain which console is best utilized by devs - since this is what will drive your purchase.

Yeah XBoX lineup looks so much better. If I was getting only one, then it would be XBoX for sure.
I still find digital prices a rip off, I also sell on the games I have finished with. So digital is out of the question for me.

This may sound stupid, but shouldn't you just invest in a gaming PC? You'll have the best performance and play at a higher competitive level with mouse and keyboard.
Edit: I think someone here also mentioned gyro. DualSense has gyro which gives you much greater precision versus analog sticks. Something to think about.

A lot of people say this but I suppose it depends on the games you play. I can't play Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, Kameo, Battlefield Bad Company on my PC, for example. Yes it's a bit daft to buy an Xbox Series console for a handful of games like that but the X is more than twice as powerful as my current PC, so why not get it anyway and just upgrade the PC mid-cycle with the 4- or 5000 series cards.
