Really, Nintendo puts out... according to google ai:
the
Nintendo Switch averaged about 20 exclusive games per year, i don't think its that much (at least first party) but it's way more then 1 a year. Here is 1st party Nintendo output per year: PlayStation and Xbox are shit in comparison.
PS5 has been pitiful with exclusive games. Especially first party. If it wasn't for 3rd party and Square Enix they would have only a handful of titles
Here is 5 years of Ps5 exclusives that are not remakes and are first party in the last 5 years:
- Reternal
- Ratchet and Clank rift apart
- Horizon Forbidden West
- GT7
- Concord
- Astrobot
PS4 put out 15 major exclusives in it's first 5 years compared to
29 exclusives on PS3.
- 2013
- Knack
- Killzone Shadowfall
- 2014:
- Infamous Second Son
- Driveclub
- 2015:
- Order 1886
- Bloodborne
- Until Dawn
- 2016:
- Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
- Ratchet & Clank
- The Last Guardian
- Shadow of the Beast
- 2017:
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Gravity Rush 2
- Knack 2
- Gran Turismo Sport
PS3 1st party:
Here is ps2 for just the first year alone (although there is a ton I will leave it here).
You can see Sony has gone downhill in 1sty party, and Nintendo has gotten better. Of course you can say that the Switch using less powerful hardware helped. It doesn't matter, numbers are numbers.
