Shining Hearts: Bread of Happiness 7

Surprised the series has fan art, guess people like teh Shining Hearts and Rikku! Anyway, I was hoping for a Rick focused episode and I got it. It was an interesting turn of self exploration. I do hope his memories come back by the time the anime ends.

Xiao-mei < the three vagabonds.

Havent seen them, but if Upotte is tame in comparison I don't think I ever will
MGX isn't like Upotte -- it's really well directed and playful rather than poorly made, trashy, and in your face. It handles fetishes and such with class, surprisingly. At the root, it's a show about teenager sexuality which lends itself better to such matters. Raging hormones, etc.

This isn't a fair fight. I don't think gun-girl fetishism is capable of being classy.

The important thing about animation is how it looks in motion, still-framing it is not super productive.

Unless it's shaft of course

It's certainly a show that I am very curious to check out, once it's finished airing.

Hey, it's not like Shaft isn't capable of providing good-looking motion in animation when they actually have enough ramen to contract their inbetweeners with.

maybe I'm biased because I read the manga but gnah... MGX is pretty much fetish after fetish without real character developement.
Nonetheless, it was very enjoyable until the Idolarc

The Shaft bashing is a little boring but I think no one takes the K-On! pictures that serious.

This man speaks the truth.

I can't speak for the manga - I've heard it peters out after a while - but the anime has been arranged such that there's been slow but steady progress in Tsubaki and Urabe's relationship. I've heard there's going to be an anime-original ending, so hopefully that's solid and caps things off in a way that avoids the pitfalls the manga fell into.

I watched it until the beach episode. And I will watch the other episodes in the next weeks.

And the beginning is strong but after I read the manga, it makes me a little sad that MGX is in the later chapters just fetish porn.

I'm pretty sure MGX is going have a original ending. So it will probably remain good before it starts getting to the "sucky' parts of the manga. The power of the adaptation.

i'm pretty sure the MGX anime's gonna have its own original ending so the things i've read about the MGX manga shouldn't be an issue!

Speaking of SHAFT and stills, I read this today:

Sailor Moon S 123:

Lilith? Is that you?

I was just wondering why the enemies had never gone after Chibiusa's heart, and now THIS HAPPENS. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

I can't believe that we've burned through
four of the Witches 5
in the past four or so episodes. I'd call the
uneven treatment of minions
one of my few disappointments with this season, but, even if unintentionally, it at least
creates a sense of escalation and desperation on the part of the enemy
.

I think that this episode might have used more stock footage than any other episode in the series' history. I'm a whore for transformation sequences so I can never really bring myself to call it a bad thing, but this close to the climax of the plot I kind of want as much meat to each episode as I can get.

Sailor Moon S 124:

Wow, a lot of the content in this episode was genuinely disturbing. The
mass daimon attack, Usagi strangulation, helicopter explosion, and creepy Mass Production Eva-esque daimon that Haruka and Michiru fought
were all varying levels of uncomfortable. I'm hopeful that this engame will prove to be the best yet.

Wow, wow, wow, what the hell?! I've known for a while that this was supposed to be good... But wow!

This is pure anime bliss.

I honestly can't think of a single bad thing about this film. The soundtrack's amazing, the character and car designs are ridiculously cool... And then we have the absurd
monster battle
, the funny moments (like
that one guy getting out of the car and running back, bwahahaha
), the absolutely non-stop sakuga... Even the secret military government antics helped add to the bizarre over-the-topness of this. There's never been a Madhouser production in anime history.

... Sonoshee <3

And the amazing ending. Oh God.

I need to lay down for a bit, hahaha.
