If you have a PC powerful enough, I don't see the point to buy the console version when you can just use a gamepad on the PC version and play on your TV.

Oh. lol. I have a PC powerful enough to run 3 of these programs at the same time. It's just a matter of do I want to play on a keyboard or controller. In other words, how lazy I am.

Friends who don't care about PCs or don't want to fool with them, no money etc.

It's the only reason i own a 360, is because my friends don't care about pcs.

Play on PC, switch between controller and KB+M at your leisure. Win win.

Is Amazon going to sell a physical copy of the PC CE or am I stuck with buying it directly from Square?
I'm sure they will, give it time.

EBGames.ca [Canada] has already listed the PC CE, and Amazon.com has listed the PS3 CE. It'll probably take a day or so for them to catch up and list both versions.

If you click on the pre-order option you will see an estimated shipping option of where they ship to.

Wow. I feel stupid now. I looked everywhere and didnt bother actually trying to preorder it. Lol and the answer was there. Thanks man. :)

I'm still waiting for Amazon.co.uk, GAME, ShopTo or anything basically to start the the CE pre-orders, because they're only for the digital version on the SE site.

Did you buy the standard edition? Anyone who purchased the v1 CE will still receive the in-game items from ARR CE.

Yeah I just have the regular edition from before, which I bought just before SE sent the destroy order. I only even played 1.0 for an hour.

I don't want to pay for a controller!

You have a PS3, right? So you have a controller. The DS3 can be used on PC via USB, there's even a decent driver now besides the crappy Motioninjoy.

Use a PS3 or 360 controller then.

I can't imagine any PC gamer goes FULL KB+M and nothing else, plenty of games play a lot better with a controller. Unless they don't play stuff like Dark Souls or DmC on PC.

There's a better driver? I might try it out again then. MotionJoy has some problems when inputting more than one button at the same time. Fucking stupid to play DmC on the PC as a result. I avoid using my DS3 on the PC as a result.

ps3 controller works on PC

Yup. I knew that. =)

I use KB+M on ARPG/RTS games, controller for everything else unless it's a FPS that i am playing online, then i use KB+M because i would get wrecked using a controller.

But...the game is cross-platform? It really doesn't matter what your friends have in this case.

The kb/m controls on this are actually really good, though - close to WoW. And the interface as it was presented in phase 2 was very mouse-oriented. I do hope they fix that, because while fighting and moving around feels great on the controller, using the menus did not.

Yeah, I played the beta with KB+M, worked well. Didn't they say they would implement stuff to make KB+M and controllers work differently? I thought I read something about that for some phase or another.

I really wish they can utilize the keyboard entirely like in FFXI. It was a bit annoying switching to mouse whenever you had to click "OK" on a popup, or to advance text conversations in cutscenes.
