So the Grizz have outscored the Spurs 303-300 in their three meetings and Gay hasn't played in any of them.

This is worse than trading Gasol for Kwame.

Oh come on that trade wasn't that bad for the Lakers.

Trading Ryu and DY for Stealth Fox is like trading Derrick Favors, Devin Harris, and Enes Kanter for the injured version of Deron Williams with no extension signed.

I'm really praying for that first round match up. Could be the closest thing we'll see to an upset in the preliminaries in the West.

The 5th-8th seed in the West is up for grabs right now and there's only 4 1/2 games separating the 5th and 11th seeds.

Timberwolves Reach Buyout With Curry

RealGM said:
The Timberwolves reached a buyout agreement with center Eddy Curry on Tuesday night.

Minnesota acquired Curry along with forward Anthony Randolph in a trade with New York last week.

They also got $3 million in cash in the deal, which will cover the cost of Curry's buyout.

Curry was waived before the midnight deadline, which means he is eligible to participate in the playoffs if he signs with another team.

Somebody says Boston picks up him up, but I doubt it.

I'd say this is the last time we hear of him.

So looking at the Magic's roster shows that after Dwight Howard nobody else on the team is averaging more than 14 Ppg.

Also Dwight averaged 24 and 14 in January and 26 and 14 in February.

He has to be the frontrunner for MVP right now over Rose. Atleast Rose has Boozer and Noah. Who does Dwight have?? A washed up Turkoglu, Richardson, and Arenas in addition to an inconsistent Jameer Nelson. Without Dwight I dunno if Magic are even making the playoffs.

That Chicago @ Atlanta game should be a good one though.

Joe Johnson gonna shit all over the Bulls.
Rose averaged around 26ppg last year against ATL. They still haven't seen him this season. I expect a 30/8/5 night

Rose has played with a healthy Boozer and Noah for a combined four games. (Note: Noah was already injured when Boozer returned)

Dwight is the best player in the league. Hands down. But unfortunately the Magic are barely scraping 50 wins together. The Bulls are going to end with almost 60, with major injuries. With the way the MVP award has worked historically, it would only fair to give it to Rose right now.

Boozer still played in 40 games and is averaging 19 Ppg.

Im not trying to discredit Rose because he has played amazing this year but atleast he didnt play the whole season so far by himself.

When Noah was injured he had Boozer and when Boozer was injured he had Noah. Not to mention Luol Deng has averaged 17.8 Ppg this season.

Point is Rose has always had someone else.

Dwight this whole season though has had nobody. The second highest scoring player on the magic is averaging 13.4 Ppg. Noah is averaging more than that and he is like the 4th option on the bulls.
