Pau has shown he has not declined that much.
The fact that he doesn't get that many rebounds this game is because they constantly asked him to come out and defend the parameter. He was seldom in position for the rebounds.

It is coaching, I thought bringing in Pringles was a mistake not because he's a terrible coach, but because they should have given him a full offseason to introduce his system and give the FO the ability to give him a roster. They should have just stuck with Bernie as interim, I told you guys this. Pau and Dwight will never be a good duo, even with all the coaching in the world. Even under Phil, Pau was at his best at C playing next to Odom.
We don't deserve to make the playoffs losing to this Raptors team

Pringles coaching sucks for the roster the Lakers have, but don't fool yourself to thinking he is the source of Pau's rapid decline. Pau has been gradually getting worse since Phils last year. I like Pau, but it's time to face the reality that he is a shell of his former self.

He wont though, because Pau Gasol is an asshole. Pau has always talked that "team" bullshit for years, but when it came time for him to sacrifice for the betterment of the team he said very plainly: fuck that noise. He's a god damn hypocrite and an overly emotional big ass baby.
And just look at our schedule for the next 5 games...jesus christ, this team is straight fucked, and we aren't even willing to give good players a fucking chance??? Why? Because it might hurt the feelings of a player who's making millions and isn't worth the paycheck?

He can still be good and effective when he's playing more comfortable at C (see the olympics this past summer). This is why we don't need to panic to trade him though. There isn't a trade to be made right now that will turn this season around, and there's not sense in adding more money and potentially bad contracts, and Pau's value isn't going to be any lower this offseason. He's a skilled 7 footer on an expiring contract. Teams will still want him then as much as they might want him now.
