Lily Rabe is the worst. Ugh.

She's great

I love that they have Stevie Nicks playing in the background, because I've been thinking this entire time that Misty Day looks a lot like young Stevie Nicks.

This was definitely a weaker episode than last week, but they are undeniably setting up stuff to happen in the coming seasons.

I reckon we'll see more of Myrtle (the eccentric witch from the first episode who heads the council) along with Joan (the fundamentalist christian who moves next door).

If anyone has read the Ryan Murphy interviews, you'll also know that next episode
somebody will die

I liked the episode a lot. Even thought it felt a little like a set-up for things to come, I am liking what they are setting up. So it's all good with me.

It was interesting that one agent was able to resist being compelled for so long. I wonder if there is something you take for that (thinking vervain like in Vampire Diaries) or if it's a bloodline thing and some people are just more resistant to magic and the like. Basically I just wonder if that will be brought up again later.

Not quite as good as the first episode.

Honestly just want more of the Supreme Queen, Voodoo Queen and Madam LaLaurie. Zoe was annoying but Queenie and the witch with Down Syndrome were great.

I swear if this show revolves around a pregnancy AGAIN. T_T

I sort of feel the same way. I really hated that about season one. But it all comes down to how it's handled. And so far it's being handled in a much more exciting way that doesn't seem bogged down by too much melodrama.

I absolutely loved this episode. I enjoyed it even more than last week's. The highlight was no doubt Fiona's meeting with the Voodoo Queen.

Is Asylum worth watching? I dropped the show midway through S1 due to its rather dull pacing. I jumped back onboard cause I'm a sucker for a goid witch story. I'm glad I did so far.

As someone who largely didn't care for season one, yes.

Asylum is such an upgrade it's almost as if completely different people made it. It's utterly over the top and insane in all the right ways.

The pacing in particular is a huge improvement over the first season. I never really felt stretches of boredom with Asylum which is something I can't say for season one.

Man im just not loving this so far, maybe I over hyped myself.
I expected this to be even better than the first two seasons.
Could even be Sleepy Hollow affecting my opinion this season.

Good second episode. I can't believe what they did with the Voodoo Queen in present day. Oh my god. I also thought the idea of gathering the "best" parts from the various bodies to construct the perfect boyfriend was really clever.

Hopefully Zoe.

eh? I mean maybe, it's a better watch marathoning? But I was consistently bored senseless week to week.

This show always seems to go by so quickly.

So was it Zoe or Misty who revived Kyle?

i would guess Zoe? Maybe, meaningless sex = death, love = life? I dunno.

I'm sorry is it me or does Kathy Bates sound like she's using the same accent she used in The Waterboy? During the present day scenes it really comes out. I know both the show and movie are set in Louisiana but it's hard to get over.

Getting ads for dr. Laveau reading this thread.

Enjoyed tonight's episode. Can't wait for next week now. Things should start heating up. Fiona in the ratchet salon gave me life.

I agree with your hopes :p

But my offiicial prediction is
Nan. They're focused way too much on Queenie to kill her off so early.

So many blurry scenes. It's annoying.

The episode was alright, and it keeps me wanting to know what happens next.

sleepy hollow got kind of boring in the last couple episodes.
Great start and then it just plummeted for me.

AHS holds up my interest.
