That's insane.

I remember having a talk with JC Rodrigo from Nintendo at SDCC (You can see us during the interlude on youtube lol) about the possibility of ordering a custom (Smash edition or not) made Mii amiibo for a couple dollars more and he said something to the effect of "I wouldn't say no to it personally. You might be onto something."

So... who's down for a custom mii amiibo if it happens?

This is actually pretty genius. It would probably be a fair more than a couple more dollars, but if it's around the $20-25 price range I would definitely bite. That would be so cool.

Haha I live in Asia and can't read Japanese so I got an NA WiiU and doing all digital. Shipping from Amazon US to here is a bitch and I travel to Japan often for biz trip so...

They should be well aware of Smash Bros's popularity and take that into account for selling amiibos.
