are most of those shops? I know that stuff like "hail satan" can be taught to villagers but the rest doesn't feel like it would be put into an E rated nintendo title.

but if it is though I hope stuff like that is in New Leaf.

I kinda feel the same way. I really want a white XL, and I think the LE will be the closest NA gets to one. I also have a feeling I may end up putting decals on it to protect it/make the system completely white... :|

Don't get me wrong. I'm pretty hyped for NL too. Been way too long since my last AC and that was for the GC.

I've been waiting forever to replace my piece of shit OG 3DS. Less than a month away yesssss
 
This looks like the kind of step up from Wild World that I expected. It sucks that I still haven't even gotten around to Luigi's Mansion 2 yet and this is just around the corner.
 
Have we talked about how, perhaps because Nintendo actually tried, this beat the tar out of handheld Super Mario in Japanese sales? I find this insane, but deserved.

I've been watching the bit block video diaries of this, and I suddenly really want to play this. I still have my Wild World copy laying around here somewhere (my most played game, never liked City Folk) but I don't want to get burned out before New Leaf even comes out.

Cousteau was my bro in the GC game, I hope I get him in NL!

The other day one of my villagers in CF asked me to change their catchphrase. I told them to greet people saying "Sup sugartits." They said they liked it, although I havent played the game since that night.
 
I haven't been following this, but is there some normal co-op? Like, visiting someone's town and running around with them?
 
I'm HYPE and scared at the same time. HYPE because this game is going to be AWESOME and scared because I know my life is OVER once its in my hands.
 
OVer here we have PLANS for the june 8 night. We've been talking about it since the release date was mentioned.

I just think that a) US midnight might me 2am over here and b) heavy traffic will make a slow download at the release tine.

So we may give up and go for a "christmas morning" approach
 
For every Animal Stalking game I've played, I always bought a copy in physical form so I could hang it proudly on my shelf. Now I have the choice to get the 3DS XL with the pre-installed mamalian party, or buy the 3DS XL separately,

I'm hoping the hypothetical 3DS xl Pkmn bundle comes with physical copies of X and Y.

I already have the OG 3DS, but I can't see much with it.
 
I got it reserved. Really looking forward to it.

I've only played the original Animal Crossing. I enjoyed it but got bored with it quickly. I got a feeling this version being portable, my first in the series, will really keep me interested.

What you can make these guys say is ridiculous. I know someone with a review copy taught one of their villagers "#SWAG" as a catchphrase.
 
Can anyone explain the blatant lack of Pokemon themed items? The first one had a fetch item of the pocket pikachu 2, but after that... nothing. Nothing that the actual player could own.

im terrible at naming things, all my pokemon nicknames are jokes even if I take the game 100% seriously

(GC was Paradise [laaaame])

Need another awesome pokemon town name or a town with an amazing themes song.
 
Oh god it's so close, I nearly forgot... I can't even remember what I named my old cities after... probably some crappy anime-inspired name -_-

Hmm... my new city will be Hosaka-sempai!

Seriously though, probably name it after my daughters since I have 2 of those since the last game came out... Wait... My daughters are named Reina and Kasumi...
