Yeah i think their excuse might actually have some weight this time with that date. Like you said in the other thread with the holidays they cant really do much at all.Eh, November to Feb, not the biggest of delays.
COD at the end of October and then Indy, people probably didn't have time for a big RPG between those two.
I don't think Stalker will make it unfortunately. If Towerborne hits 2024 its pretty hard to complain. That pick doesnt even show Stalker. Will be a lot to even try to play all that.
A “big rpg” that they already stated is roughly the same length as The Outer Worlds?
And Indy isn’t coming out this year, no one will convince me otherwise. Five months left in the year, still listed as TBA, and the only gameplay we’ve seen has been the same 5 minutes of footage shown twice sandwiched between pre-rendered cutscenes. If it comes out this year it will be a Redfall level mess.

Rather have Towerborne anyway. If Towerborne hits 2024 its pretty hard to complain. That pick doesnt even show Stalker. Will be a lot to even try to play all that.
yep.Don’t get used to Indy 2024 TBA either. Out of everything announced Avowed looked the closest to release.

We have to give xbox players space for their zero fucking games.
February will be fun. I feel like I’m one of 12 people looking forward to this one lol
indy is 25 no doubt in my mind.A “big rpg” that they already stated is roughly the same length as The Outer Worlds?

SH2 remake is all I will be playing for the rest of the year
Is it though?MS need to stop announcing release dates so early. It’s fucking embarrassing at this point, and must be infuriating for those who bought a Series console for a specific game.
Fair enough that Sony has only confirmed the release date for one 1st party game this year with Astrobot, but at least it’s releasing within a few months of being announced. It’s certainly better than announcing a load of games that get delayed all the time.
Yes. You can pre-order it right now. Sony have been pretty clear on their recent policy of not announcing new games until they are close to release. And I’m all for it.Is it though?![]()
If you were a gamepass member you would get the stress we are under to chop away at out backlogI fucking love MS PR
"to give players backlogs some breathing room"

I get the appeal of the short window. But as long as I do have stuff to play, I dont mind seeing stuff ahead of time too. Within reason.Yes. You can pre-order it right now. They announced in June i think it was releasing in November, now a small delay i don't see the issue.MS need to stop announcing release dates so early. It’s fucking embarrassing at this point, and must be infuriating for those who bought a Series console for a specific game.

Avowed was announced July 2021 and is now being released in 2025. Astrobot was announced this year, and is being released this year. I know which kind of announcement I prefer. They announced in June i think it was releasing in November, now a small delay i don't see the issue.
Astro Bot date was announce in May, so a similar time scale.
Edit: Mr Apple below has corrected me, it never even had a date officially until now, again a similar timeframe to Astro bot, What's the problem?

I did, and only one game is being released on time. I’m also highlighting the benefit of letting games cook before announcing them. You said release dates.
Sorry you were clear what you said and I responded, if you meant something else you should have said.I did, and only one game is being released on time. I’m also highlighting the benefit of letting games cook before announcing them.
The point is, when you announce a game in 2021, then tell everyone it’s out in 2024, then delay it to 2025, it’s a bit shit, especially after what happened to Starfield. It doesn’t exactly inspire confidence does it?Sorry you were clear what you said and I responded, if you meant something else you should have said.
I totally agree but that's not what you initially posted. They only gave a 2024 date at the start of this year, then they have given us an actual date of Feb 18th today. I don't see the problem with that. The point is, when you announce a game in 2021, then tell everyone it’s out in 2024, then delay it to 2025, it’s a bit shit, especially after what happened to Starfield.
