It's quite unbelievable though that they had the balls to sell season pass for 40 bucks but didn't bother to let this game go through QA testing.
It's going through QA testing right now.

this game runs like shit on my pc and it makes me sad, might be the last pc game i ever buy
ok so while they sort out the shitfest that is the PC version, i have now tried the PS4 version and as many others have it does look gorgeous - in many ways as good as and better than the PC. better rain for sure and solid solid smooth 30 fps. consider me Sonys bitch for now.
once you start playing its controls really well. this will do me fine till the PC is patched.
So the game is busted on PC?
This is good for me as I also have the 660tiGTX660ti
1080p, V-sync and AA on. Normal textures, high shadows, high detail. Paper Debris and Enhanced Rain turned on. Getting solid 30fps.
Don't know what all the fuss is about.
who wouldn't get frustrated? i mean you have titan x sli, i have a 980ti, the game should not perform the way it does specially by the way it looks, im not saying it looks bad but it sure does not look amazong to cripple our cards the way is doing it, it is a shame because is a great franchise, lots of people took the day off to enjoy the game and that joy has turned to frustration, and if we are honest there's no excuse, the game was delayed multiple times, imagine if the game released on the original date, it would have been a bigger mess
Why the fuck do people think that QA doesn't catch this shit? 9/10 times QA catches basically every issue, and you bet your ass they would have known about these problems. The dev teams don't have time to fix all the issues, and the publishers push the game out the door anyway. This isn't QA's fault. It's WB's fault for pushing the game out when it was in this sorry ass state. It's going through QA testing right now.
I'm not saying corrupted, im saying where the md5 (hash) doesn't match.
Now about the steam id package, I don't know wether you can republish with the same packet id or not (it wouldnt make sense) and if that's the case probably redownloading won't do a thing, sadly.
More people need to humiliate WB and Rocksteady for this. Be it gaming press, gamers, and even other publishers.
What a joke. Rocksteady did more than release a broken port, they broke my heart.

PS4 fanboys have become the ultimate trolls online at this point. Worse than Xbox 360 fanboys last gen.
They're all jumping on this making it seem as though this happens all the time on PC and so "just get it on PS4". As if the EXACT opposite hasn't actually been the truth this generation.
FUCK OFF already.
I'm running the PC port. I know that it has issues from personal experience. I'm saying that blaming this on QA is stupid, because it's definitely not their fault. The dev team of the PC version HAD to know of these problems, and the publisher almost certainly pushed the game out in this state.Well this shit didn't even need testing of any sort, just start it and you''ll see the problems immediately.
Also 30 fps lock was intentional, so that means they knew this port runs like donkey

The recommended specs for Ultra settings are a 980.
Go find us the ultra settings and get back to us.
Does it perform better on PS4?
Well I have a PS4, but I am mainly a PC gamer, but yeah sometimes this thing is indeed getting out of hand. People easily forget Driveclub.
Well it isn't stuttering, so that is an instant yes in my book
I really want to play this game so I'm wondering if I should go grab the PS4 version somewhere or if I should just try and get 30fps stable on PC. Its so hard to get a straight answer on whether or not its solid 30fps/no stuttering with a RivaTuner cap, even with the Batmobile. I won't be able to test it myself for another 4 hours while this downloads.
Since when has Driveclub been on PC?

Yeah, I know. I was just being thorough in my reasoning.
A game's Steam build id is something that is automatically controlled by Steam itself. It assigns a build id to every branch of every game and it's a number that increases across the board (e.g. if you patched your game for the first time in three years, its build id would jump up massively) -- it's impossible for a game to be patched without its build id changing and there will never be a case of duplicate build ids across two or more games.
Oh FFS. There goes that.
It's not just this game. EA sent out a tweet about Battlefront. Bunch of PS4 idiots saying how you shoudl buy it on PS4 instead 'cause Arkham.
IT's fanboys being idiot fanboys as usual. Nevermind mind that it would be a hundred times easier to turn the argument around.
Yeah well, what about Witcher 3? Lords of the fallen? Alien Isolations? AC Unity? Battlefield 4? etc, etc, etc.
This might be the case. It reminds of of the PC port of Dead Rising 3, which when you unlocked framerate just became a shitshow. I was playing on my TV last night without any config edits and was getting an absolute lock on 1080/30 with everything turned up and gameworks on. To be fair, I'm on 24gb ram, 980ti, and 4670k @ 4.5 ghz.Wait, so are people not having stuttering issues if they don't unlock it to 60? I've seen a couple people say that they're having no problems before mentioning that it's keeping a solid 30 FPS.
You were right man, props.
Verifying didn't do a thing, not even placebo.

I've only played like half an hour but I wouldn't have known there was issues if I didn't go to this thread.
Man everyone in here is a bunch of babies... Look, every game released now is going to have problems the day of launch. If you can't troubleshoot or can't deal with having a few issues here or there, you should probably just wait until about a week from now and a few patches will be out and all these little problems will be fixed.
Has anyone seen this?
Update: Rocksteady has issued a statement regarding the issues, saying it's working to get them resolved while highlighting it was another studio that did the PC port of the game.
"We're aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight," it reads. "This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously. We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible. We'll update this thread when we've got more info to share."
Original story follows.
I take your point and I agree. I also wish I got Witcher 3 instead of this
i7 4790k, 970, 16 gigs of ram. I unlocked the framerate and while it was definitely hitching a bit at times, it was running much better. This might be the case.
