Man, no AO now... what a clusterfuck.

I'm just going to pretend the game hasn't been released yet.

I can't see how this is the fault of Iron Galaxy.

If they failed in anything it was getting the game ready for the release date today, but ultimately its Rocksteady and WB that decided to release it, they'll have seen the state of the game weeks ago and had ample time to delay it a few weeks if that's what was going to be required.

WB nor Rocksteady haven't even really acknowledged the issues outside a single post by a community manager on their forum.

Lol I thought Rocksteady would have learned their lesson after shackling their last games to GFWL and then removing it. Now this has Denuvo? What?
I know this post was several pages ago, but had to point out that the initial Steam release of AC was pretty insane, since it had SecuROM+GFWL+Steamworks.

My friend has a 7870 and is able to run at 720p at sub 20FPS with low settings.
I installed it and played for like 30 mins on my laptop with an i7 3720QM, FirePro M6000 (basically a desktop 7770) and 16GB of RAM.
With no AA or vsync but everything else High (save for textures since Medium is the limit) and on, at 1080 the game hovers around 20 and then (hilariously if using a driver other than the latest beta) tanks when on the Batmobile. At 720 it does stay mostly around 30, and hits around 24 on the Batmobile for that great cinematic experience.

I haven't tried lowering the settings yet, but I'm honestly amazed at how highly inconsistent the game seems to be across configs.

This isn't the first time someone's had to fix High Voltages shit, the japanese dev house Hexadrive had to fix the clusterfuck High Voltage made of the Zone Of The Enders HD Collection. They couldn't even port older games properly.

And they still haven't given the Flashpoint skins to season pass holders on Steam. Not that it matters, I thought I had fixed my crashing but I didn't. Instead of every 10-15 minutes now it's every 20-30 minutes.

Time to put this up and hope they fix it. So disappointed.

So Green Man Gaming don't do refunds once you have redeemed a key. I guess I can cross them off my list of retailers in future. Sorry I didn't buy it on Steam now.

I guess it depends on if they accepted the work knowing they would have constrained conditions. There's some responsibility for knowing what they can achieve and in what time.

I hope all these issues get resolved quickly. With the new refund system and the amount of negative reviews on Steam I can only imagine how many have asked for a refund (rightfully so), despite it being a top seller at the moment.
The performance is all over the place. The lack of AO is just baffling.

GTX 770 2GB here, it's not working great for me either.

What's interesting is that for Shadow of Mordor and Witcher 3, I put the res down to "900p" and they ran ~60fps at pretty much max settings, but for this game, it made no difference, neither did 720p, neither did the even lower resolutions. Stuttering and freezing galore.

Threads like this are why me getting rid of my PS4 just for Star Citizen hurts my heart.

We shouldn't be living in world where a GTX 970 with and i5 processor can't run 1080p/60fps for ANY title. Hell, even Star Citizen should be able to give you that.

And people were saying just a year ago that 2GB video cards were fine for the forseable future.

Bullshit. PC starting to piss me off.

Ah. Yeah, Nvidia keys generally don't come with pre-order bonuses. The skin pack is included with all new copies of the game as recompense for the cancellation of the Batmobile Edition.

Seriously? That's super stupid, that means i had no way of getting it from steam...

Wow. My guess is their services are very cheap compared to other vendors.

And what the hell does VRAM have to do with any of that?

No, it's not right to stage witch hunts, either, but as an employee in an industry, you have to be extra careful when posting in a place full of that industry's enthusiasts. (Some people might use the term 'lunatic fringe'.)

If you're a marketer and say things that show some sort of pro-publisher bias (or just making generally dumb posts like that one was), you can expect people will try to find exactly why you have that stance to show how everything you say should be taken with a grain of salt.

But you assume "DetectiveGAF" found real and correct link and didn't mistakenly just do false ID in this case. Looking up name of GAF poster through his XBL handle and then matching it with Linkedin worker profile with same name, who just happens to be working in corporation that fucked up this time, may be pure coincidence. Was there any other proof than that name link and assumption based on that?

Posting that kind things can be dangerous when other sites start to pick that stuff up from here and possibly false information starts to spread around. In worst case scenario it could, in this case, cost innocent person his job just because false info spreading and corporation wants to save face.

People in professional positions where they represent corporation like WB should always be mindful when doing statements and posts to public spaces like this, but people doing whole detective thing also should be very sure about their findings before posting publicly.

I would treat this game as really an exception. I'm not sure why you got rid of the PS4 what with they crazy E3 they had, but...

It's understandable in SOME ways for Star Citizen as well. Though, I have my doubts about that game as well.

'cause of one game?

I guess if you would have kept your PS4, we woudl have herd this little speech oh, about 6 times this gen already.

Trust me, you didn't make a mistake...

Wait, if you did it just for one game, then maybe you did.

Star Citizen should be 1080p / 60fps on a 970? Do you think graphics run on magic?

Going borderless helped but ultimately didn't fix all my problems. This is probably the most broken I've bought a PC game on release, pretty disappointed. I doubt they will do anything but I asked GMG for a refund. Even if they give me credit, I'll end up using it because I buy games from those guys all the time.

I have the next 3 days to myself because my wife is gone and I planned to be Batmanning it up. :\

I'm not in the "FUCK ROCKSTEADY" camp so I think I may just go PS4 version for this. At this point fuck 60fps, this feels so broken I doubt I'd get that on my system anyway.

I go the game free from buying my 970 and still feel jipped.
I sort of do too, mostly because if I had known that it would have been this bad, I might have waited to make my build, or at the very least would have put the PS4 version at the top of my Gamefly Q in order to be able to play it on release day. I hate that I'm in this thread instead of the Batman official thread talking about the game. :(

Iron Galaxy ported Batman Arkham Origins which ran fine so not sure what happened here.

I had a game breaking bug at the end of that game that made me have to wait 2 weeks to play a 15 minute part to finish the game. :| I didn't even know it was them that did that game...now I'm doubly pissed. :p

Should have delayed the PC version for two weeks if it meant the game would be better. Nice of them to just shit it out without caring this time around.

I had exactly one very random crash and no extreme freezes whatsoever in my 110 hours of gameplay. Some drops here and there, but nothing too much. I bought it from GOG though, so could it be something related to Steam? Unlikely, I know, but I didn't encounter a lot of issues.

The game crashed multiple times on me until they fixed it. Just search the internet, and you'll see. CDPR launched a buggy mess.

So friends, to what degree do you expect this mess to be fixed?

I expect some manner of performance improvement, I think the stutter will be fixed for most.

But I expect that they will never include AO, and the Nvidia stuff will always tank frame rate, except maybe for the 900 series cards.

I don't expect this to happen sooner than in 3-6 weeks.

I can't remember the last time a game launched in such a broken state.

I'm sure it will be improved , but I'm not confident in the time frame, especially given rocksteady nor WB have had anything to say about it today.
