This movie just jumped to the top of my must-watch list. I hope the Ben Affleck-haters realise how good of a casting he seems to have turned out.

Do you hear him trying to muster some deep philosophical meaning from a film about Superman and Batman punching each other? "Power engenders fear" or some shit.
He's an Oscar winning actor/director who has some compulsion to be in a comic book film, a compulsion that even he probably doesn't understand. Maybe it's penance for Daredevil.
I'm trying not to cry. ;_;
It's beautiful, it's like it was ripped straight out of the comics.
There is no way Batman gets an origin story for his first solo film.

Regardless of his performance at the end of the day, what he did behind the scenes for this project and others was worth it IMO.

seems like you're the one that doesn't know how heat vision works. Superman can turn it up or down, like a faucet. from little beams to a big cyclops like blast.

BTW I think that's just really clever editing. Superman is clearly somewhere else, and the explosion looks like it's been taken from another scene.

everything from the imaginative composition to the expressive colours makes this really quite stunning. this is the standard we should demand from superhero films. snyder continues to raise the bar

Regarding that spoiler posted a few pages back,
I'm gonna assume that's NOT Supes shooting heat vision at Batman.
The more I watch this, the more I'm realizing those two scenes aren't actually in order. That Superman shot looks like he's in the same area where he's fighting Wonder Woman and that big explosion happens. Batman looks like he's in Gotham still. Also, notice the explosion doesn't have any red heat vision remnants in it.

Man of Steel looked muted. This looks a hell of a lot more vibrant and colourful.
Superman isn't fighting WW. All three of them are most likely fighting someone else

A lot of the discussion always comes back to why Bats is pissed at Supes. This trailer answered that, to an extent, but I especially like that Clark seems to want to "take on the batman" himself too
They might be two different scene but the Batman part definitely looks like he's evading a heat beam (based on the lighting on the body of Batman).

Batman dislikes Superman because of the destruction in Metropolis. Superman is going after Batman because Bats is still a vigilante and I think Superman is trying to get some goodwill from people? I don't know
I bet those scenes with Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman is

Suicide Squad looks awesome. I don't really care for involving Batman and Superman/Wonder Woman in the same universe. Too much CG and less immersion involved with those more fantastical heroes and villains.
