This movie just jumped to the top of my must-watch list. I hope the Ben Affleck-haters realise how good of a casting he seems to have turned out.
I'm trying not to cry. ;_;
If Snyder knows how to do one thing, it sure is making kick ass trailers. I loved the trailer but thinking about it, the movie looks like it has enough material to fill up 4 different movies. A Batman movie, a Superman movie, a Superman V. Batman movie, and a Wonder Woman movie. I have a strange feeling it's going to suffer Spiderman 3 syndrome where were going to be introduced to at least 5 new characters (WW, Bruce, Joker(maybe), Alfred, and Lex Luthor) and none of them are going to have enough development needed. It even looks like they are including a small batman origin / flashback scene which I don't think is really needed and could have been saved for Batmans own movie. The last thing we need is an origin story in a sequel. If Batman gets one, I think that Wonder Woman needs one (probably more so because not a lot of people are familiar with WW).
Im not saying it's going to be bad, but I do think it's going to be bloated.
He just got through a nasty split from his wife. I wouldn't be in the right place mentally if I had to do these press junkets as well.
I like how Superman's all like "Fuck it! I 'm gonna kill Batman with my motherfucking laser beams." So Supes doesn't mind killing now? Interesting.Tell em Snyder

For you.

Henry Cavill, the man with one facial expression
its between worried and concerned, always worried and concerned
And so did Sucker Punch, and so did Watchmen. That Zack Snyder really knows how to make a trailer.Hmm, well the trailer looks good...but so did Man of Steel's
And I am not sure if I am seeing things, but BvS looks much more colorful. Its nice to see they might be taking the criticisms of Man of Steel and using them to improve this.
BUT
I still have this burning feeling this movie is going to be cluttered. The fact that Wonder Woman and Aquaman are both in this (even though they both look great) just reminds me of the lessons we should have learned from Batman and Robin, that more characters =/= better
It looks like Snyder doesn't understand that Superman's heat vision isn't supposed to look like Cyclops concussive blasts.
It's OK Zack, 70% of comic book artists don't understand that either.
BTW I think that's just really clever editing. Superman is clearly somewhere else, and the explosion looks like it's been taken from another scene.
The more I watch this, the more I'm realizing those two scenes aren't actually in order. That Superman shot looks like he's in the same area where he's fighting Wonder Woman and that big explosion happens. Batman looks like he's in Gotham still. Also, notice the explosion doesn't have any red heat vision remnants in it.
The expressive colors? Does 'expressive' in this case mean 'muted'?everything from the imaginative composition to the expressive colours makes this really quite stunning. this is the standard we should demand from superhero films. snyder continues to raise the bar
I have a sneaking feeling those aren't Superman's lasers flying towards Bats. Some crafty editing
Man of Steel looked muted. This looks a hell of a lot more vibrant and colourful. The expressive colors? Does 'expressive' in this case mean 'muted'?

They might be two different scene but the Batman part definitely looks like he's evading a heat beam (based on the lighting on the body of Batman). The more I watch this, the more I'm realizing those two scenes aren't actually in order. A lot of the discussion always comes back to why Bats is pissed at Supes. This trailer answered that, to an extent, but I especially like that Clark seems to want to "take on the batman" himself too
Yeah, Superman's heat vision beams are way smaller than the beams Bats dodges.
It will be a special year if they all turn out good. Can't wait.2 from DC, 2 from Marvel Studios, & 2 from Fox. Better start camping at the movie theater now. Hell, keep your tents up after Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
