Well, he governed Catalonia for more than twenty years and the current President de la Generalitat is from the same political party
Dude, stop with your lies, for your own good:
- Pujol ruled Catalunya for 20 years
- He was never an independentist
- His party leaned to independence when the movement rose, by then he was out
- His party got divided in two, he was leaning more towards the part that's now virtually extinct
You're basically saying that everybody inside a party has the exact same of ideas or are the same entity. Also you show a huge ignorance towards what happened in CiU (now PDCAT).
I say it again: this is an old popular movement (that may have been initiated at the end of the XIX century by the bourgeoisie, I won't say no, but that movement spread to the masses) that current politicians are riding as their own. When they are kicked out, and trust me they will, the movement will stay. You don't fix that by imprisoning the leaders, as they are just representatives.
You should focus your obvious rage to the PP govt for destroying spanish democracy by ruling the Constitutional Tribunal and the Justice in general, effectively declaring null the separation of powers in the State and therefore making the rulings by the CT in the last 12 years wet paper.
